Same here, now waiting for Z-533 but I'm a bit afraid as X230 can do 40Hz, Z533 not... if the volume & sub volume knobs (and sub cable connector) were alright I wouldn't change.

@@UnLuckEEEr Actually, X230 can even do 35 Hz, just not very loud :) I'm using mine for almost 12 years and they still sound awesome, I will buy a pair of semi-professional 3 way bookshelf speakers (Edifier R2750DB) but only to add my X230, I just need a little bit mid-treble detail. Which unfortunately X230 does not have on lower volumes.

@ Yup, mid-treble detail is better with Z533 as I noticed / if they just mashup those 2 systems together it would sound incredible for that money. I checked those Edifier and they're looking good!

@@Techscrews i havent tested those to be honest. It's just hard to find better speakers if compare it to the x-230. Could also be that im used to the sound profile. From the current line up from logitech what would a better speaker be in your opinion?

I have had these for 15 years and they sound amazing. but recently the left speaker stopped working- it sounds like the wire is loose right by the connector where I plug it in to the laptop- when i wiggle it , the sound comes on and off. How can I fix this? and if I cant, can anyone recommend the next best model for laptop speakers? I also have the Logitech X-240 and THEY SOUND LIKE CRAP! so how can I know which model to get next?

Fully agree with @El_Taiito, the connectors on the subwoofer started go bad for me some years ago and are very picky how the cables are attached/hanging off it. I seriously need to give them a good cleaning...

of course, simply, just open subwoofer box, disconet all wires from logitech subwoofer driver. Then to logitech subwoofer connect wiires from car amplifier and done.

I found them again when I moved out of my apartment. They look good (from the outside) and I try eo put them on my notebook via headphones entrance. I can't get no sound out of them. It's windows 10/11. Can it be a driver problem ? I still can't remember why I removed them back then. I think it was because the pc got killed by beer. They look good. Cables are ok. Probably the green cable which is used to put in the earphone hole is not ok. They start, green lamp on, cables are together as they should,etc. Probably a driver failure because of the age? I don't know. I used the JBLFlip box via Bluetooth but the Logitech system is better for home usage. Small but loud enough and because of the subwoofer it's been perfect for me. Can you tell me something about the possible problem, please? Thanks ! Ah, is there something in this league for similar price? I'll check out these Logitech Z333 2.1. Are they as good as the old ones? Thanks for everything and stay healthy! P.S. The x-230 didn't had this little round control wheel, had they?

x230 use volume fontrol on speaker, drivers no need for this system, try connect to phone. Start play music moving cable near green logitech check, if you get a sound, you know, that 3.5mm jack need repair. How to do it, you can watch on my Techscrew diy channel.

Same situation for me just last night. No power when plugged in and a strong cigarette butt smell coming from the inside of the case. I suspect the driver is burned out.

Hay un fusible dentro. Mi X-230 dejó de funcionar el jueves. Lo he desmontado y he visto un fusible, pero no sé si será ése el problema. Es agotador repararlo, sin saber cómo va a quedar. Suerte en la solución de tu problema.

there is not writen impedance, but i find on internet, that for x230 it has 4 ohms, it is logical, two speakers in parallel of 8 ohms give 4 ohms.
