The president of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL), Guido Gómez Mazara and the director of the Border Development Directorate, Ramón Pérez Tejada, met with authorities, businessmen and radio broadcasters from the northwest line of the country, to find a solution to the problem of radio interference generated by Haitian stations in the Dominican Republic.
Gómez Mazara listened to the concerns and proposed to the radio broadcasters of the northwest line the formation of a technical table, with the objective of finding solutions to the issue.
“From now on, with this effort of participation, we will leave here with the commitment that a commission will visit Indotel, to go out with the technical team of the institution to solve the problem,” he emphasized.
In addition, the official proposed that he will promote a message on the stations of the northwest identified with the democratic and Dominican values, which promote the national identity in its inhabitants.
