Hello my sweet friend! GW prices really are all over the place! The first little dishes you picked up, my mama had a 4 piece setting and I'm pretty sure it was this pattern, with the wide gold lace type detail around the border. Those along with quite a few blue transferware dishes is the only dishes mama had except for maybe a single piece of something. Oh Michelle that really is A great praise report! That's happened to me a few times! A few weeks ago i went to get my wallet from my purse & it wasn't there. I looked everywhere. I remembered the last place i used it was at the store near the house so i got on the phone! Thank the Lord he had it put up for me! Its A scary feeling when your wallet is missing😬 We just finished Santa today. Its hard getting it done when they kids are with you 24/7! But my son & DIL are keeping them later today for us to get it done! Santa is coming here on the 24th! My son & DIL have to work Christmas day & we're leaving for NC after lunchtime on the 24th to be down there for Christmas day. We wanted all the kids to have Santa together before we left.😊 The red plaid throw was pretty! I love the white bedspread & would love to have a solid white one! I also loved the metal wall hanger with the primitive Santa on it! I always pick up the little shelves with the ornate details or even the little plain ones. They're great for small spaces, to add in a gallery wall or under a piece of art or several grouped together & styled. If they're not the right color, i just fix it!😉 We did have one of those old tree stands & i really like the graphics on that box! Ohhh Michelle😮 You know i love to collect old wooden side chairs & I love rockers.. and green is my fav color, so you know i loved that old rocker! And that price!🤯 Down here its pretty common for people to sit things on the curb or by the road & anyone can stop & get them that wants them. Earlier this week I stopped & picked up this little rocker, not a kids but not full size. Its oak wood and has upholstered seat in the red & white toile!! Its just precious! Definitely vintage & needs a little cleaning but that's it. I also picked up the big wooden bird cage with metal bars, its pretty old too but I'm going to make a vignette inside it! There were some other small pieces I picked up too. The bead art ornaments are really pretty. I want to collect vintage ornaments for my tree next year. I'd love to find the north town ones, i think that's what they're called, its north something🤷‍♀️😄 Oh Wow..i didn't know you did paintings for books, that's so cool! That plate was really pretty! My grandma had that same picture of Jesus in that light colored plastic frame! That brass bird was amazing! I love anything brass! The frame you picked up is beautiful, i love oval frames! I have several smaller pieces that have plastic frames, rub & buff and antiquing wax works a lot of miracles!😉 The little jar with the lid looks like the has my grandma used for her homemade jellies! I'm so ready to get back to thrifting & find more bibles! Oh Yayyy for you Michelle!! I'm so glad you took that some Rocker home!!💚 Its going to be a perfect addition to your home!😊 Amen Michelle! Regardless of any situation, place or time, we need to always share the love of Christ! You truly never know! I haven't been thrifting in forever and it was fun seeing all the things. It really was a God thing about my wallet because it was just laying in my seat. I usually slide off my seat so I truly feel like an angel left it there for me. I was scared but at the same time felt a peace, I just know it was the Holy Spirit. I'm so thankful you found your wallet too! God is so good! I'm glad you were able to finish up your shopping, and please have safe travels. I would've bought that green chair,too! The beaded ornaments brought back happy memories for me- my grandma would make them every year. I don't know what happened to them, hopefully someone in the family has them . I agree with the Goodwill prices, some things are very high, others cheap. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Thanks for taking us along on your thrifting adventures. I have about 30 gooseberry cookbooks, I love them.I pick them up whenever I find them at the thrift store. A few times I have bought one I already have,then I just pass it along. I love reading the sweet little stories in them. Im almost done shopping for Christmas, just a few more gifts to get. My oldest granddaughter gets out of school early today so we are going shopping and to get her nails done and out for dinner. Im sure the stores will be packed, but it will be nice to spend time with her. Have a great weekend!❤

I’ve had that same bird picture for years and I think it was Home Interior. I loved that little jar with the zinc lid and the green rocker. They are increasing the size of the Goodwill in my area, so hoping to find some good items. I’m not ready for Christmas. Going to wrap presents today. My oven went out a couple of days ago and repairman is coming to look at it today. It’s 10 years old. Hoping we don’t have to replace it. Haven’t got to do my baking or candy making. It’s frustrating but we’re trying to take it in stride. I didn’t know you were a tole painter. That’s something I always wanted to do. Have a blessed Christmas! 🤶🏻 🎄🎁

If you knew how many times I check for my wallet and phone while out, you would know I am a little OCD. I hate that panic feeling! So glad you found it quickly. I do wonder why I grab dishes that I will never use and lack storage…but I would have grabbed those little cups. I would have to hire a cook to ever use my pretty dishes anyway.😅. I would miss your handsome Jesus picture. Granted, it might make me view him as not so fatherly and more hubba hubba but I can control those feelings.😅. That magnet made me nervous anyway but I was truly beside myself to look down and not see it attached to my phone. The thing Is I was so upset but at the same time calm. I walked all the aisle and then asked the front clerk all the time I was praying. When I get out of my suv I usually slide off the seat because it sit high up so the chances of that laying on the seat like it was is impossible in my mind. I just feel like God sent His angels to place that right there. I'm still thanking God for it today! Thank you for liking my Jesus picture, I really do like it and it always surprises me how much grief it causes people. I truly feel thrifting has grown so much in popularity that the thrift stores are capitalizing on it, it’s sad though because it’s by donations and they’re price gauging, yes price gauging! I can remember years ago when I started garage selling it was looked down upon and wasn’t a popular thing now it’s like the newest craze and trend and everyone is out doing it which in turn has impacted pricing 🙁. Anymore you can find bargains at big box stores or antique shops that are almost comparable🤷‍♀️

I do remember when people looked down on you for garage sales and thrifting was not a place you wanted people to know you went to. Now it's all the craze and that is probably why the prices are so high. It's crazy! I do love going and sometimes you find something that makes it all worthwhile. That’s a scary about your wallet. Years ago, my daughter and I went to the grocery store and she left her purse in the cart and put in the cart corral and drove home. Only when we were putting groceries away did she realize she didn’t have her purse. She called the store and yes some kind soul had turned it in to the customer service desk. God was watching out for her because not only was the purse there but her wallet, credit cards and her checkbook. I think those very small glasses may be cordial glasses.
