I usually don’t buy acrylic, but I went a bit bonkers on the anniversary cakes. 30% off on each, free shipping. Thick and soft yarn. Two of Jubilee, two of pebbles, two of book store and two of evergreen. I plan on making a lot of blankets this year.

OMG you have just MADE my day!!! I was soooo sad when you said Latte Cakes had been discontinued, but now I'm sooooo happy that they are still being sold, AND there are new colors!!!!! I adored the Caron Cotton Cakes, best cotton I ever worked with, I think because it wasn't 100% cotton, had a tiny bit of acrylic I think. I would love to see that come back!

I have 1 of several of the old Latte cake colors. I am going to make a rainbow blanket out of them, I'm just missing the yellow color. I am so excited!!. I loved the Macchiato cake that you used on your wrap, but I also love the purple too, It's my favorite color. But Burgundy, and grey are beautiful together. I have 3 of the anniversary cakes in the stripes the blue, purple, and magenta. I never cared for the speckled or dotted ones. But I love the Birch that would match my living room. I missed out on the sticks and stones or the sandy shores color ways. I love the purple, of course and the one with the blue, but the prismatic one I could use with the striped ones I have. Oh, the options are endless, and so is my love of yarns. Thank you, for sharing with us.

River birch are my favorite too. I loved buying the half dead ones at big box stores and watching them florish . Lovely small shade tree in summer and beautiful bark and forgiving branches in the winter.

You need to try the new K/C Superwash Wool Luxe at Joann’s. It’s is one of the softest wools I’ve ever crocheted with and like you I love wool and have tried a few.
