As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I really have no idea how Bayezid can still be on Mustafa's side here outside of, to be blunt, sheer stupidity. Mihrimah's moment here is a flawlessly realistic callout, particularly when it's clear that the opposing side won't admit to their own flaws and schemes.

Anyone else a little mystified that Mahidevran dared to be so blunt with Lokman standing right there, listening to every word? She might claim she's willing to wait longer, even if Suleiman does recover, but, if he were to wake up and have those words reported to him, then he's not exactly going to view Mahidevran _or_ Mustafa in a favorable light (and it could contribute to a justification for Musatafa's end, which makes this even more stupid to do!).

Mahidevil you will get what you deserve for that, just wait, your end will be the most satisfying, as much as halime's and dilruba's. You never loved suleiman, just his throne, you ended most of his dynasty, all for the valide sultan position. It doesn't belong to you. You will not get it.
