This is a radical departure from what we believe to be. At first glance it may seem childish; but if we have realized (even if just intellectually) that conscious-awareness is our true being, then how awareness "observes" is critical to understanding (the simple finger pointing back reveals so much). I find this goes hand in hand with Rupert Spira's pointing. Thank you for your postings, Richard.

It's such a pity there are no subtitles. The automatic ones have so many wrong words. If anyone could do a transcription I would be very thankful and I am sure, many other non-native listeners would be, too.

We are doing all we can to make the headless way available, but we have a limited number of hands and feet, so we cannot do everything. But we will do what we can. Enjoy being headless 🙂

@@headexchange That wasn't meant to be an order addressed to you. More hoping some native speaking viewer would take the trouble as a service for all those wanting to really understand what was said. Thank you for making this available!!

Appallingly slow and rambling. Completely lacking with respect to capturing and engaging the viewer's attention.

I find it quite charming. This originates form a time before video games and three second attention spans, and from a more leisurely and thoughtful European culture. The gentle and relaxed atmosphere also helps to get a deeper feel of what is being said and attempted here. If you are on a serious "spiritual journey" it may help to take a deep look at your impatience and need for speed.

I don't have any impatience or "need for speed" thank you and need no sermonising from yourself with respect to that. I have been familiar with the philosophy and work of Douglas Harding for many years now and find it interesting, thought-provoking and very relevant to the ground-breaking work of A. N. Whitehead and Process Reality. However, in this video Harding simply rambled, made many unsupported claims, all of which were not challenged at all by the 2 people who accompanied him, and absolutely failed to communicate anything of value concerning his theories.

Peter Roberts if you’re looking for scientific evidence on this you probably won’t encounter it in your lifetime given the hard problem of consciousness. He is inviting you to see in your own experience, not to believe his claims. I really enjoyed this video. Not sure what you’re so upset about

How is this relevant to Process and Reality....don't show off

@@jingham2387 All hes showing off is his own limitations. Pride is a hide. The ego knows about a lot of things, it's just doesn't know anything but is to prideful to admit it. The intellect is a trap and a limitation.
