It is surprising what can be found at a big market like that .someone alerted me to a photo of my great great grandfather on ebay . I looked it up and the vendor said they foind it in an album at a fleamarket . I wish i could have afforded his price because the album was full of photos of my ancestors back to early 19th century. 😮

Would liked to have seen what was the average price on those wooden apple crates? You never closed in enough to see the pictures on the side or what the price tags were ?

@@DolloffAntiques ok, sorry I just wondered for comparison reasons, those type of labelled crates only fetch around £20 here in the UK. One other thing I noticed if you don’t mind me mentioning is there seemed to be loads of buyers milling around looking but not seemingly carrying having bought anything ? Are they just tyre kickers? At our largest fair (Newark) being a similar size there’d be hundreds of punters walking around with trolleys and carts full of gear! Maybe it’s because our prices are a lot cheaper? The only things that seem similarly expensive are Porcelain (enamel) signage especially motoring related which have gone through the roof!…..
