Those old timers done some testing all the way up that hill aye Kev . i gotta go back out to my trenches again soon and explore it some more , but now summers here i really worry about the Snakes too , and there ain't much shade either . i almost went on Sunday because it was gonna be a bit rainy and overcast , but Chickened out , lol 😂 That Black Jasper looks like you could make a nice Onyx look a like ring out of it , it polished up OK . Yes Joe Blake like the long grass, it puts me off a bit, I like the cleared ground at least then you can see them. Take your time Ned no rush mate we will wait for your next adventure. I'm calling it Black Jasper but not 100% sure, it's bloody hard and polishes very well. I made a ring from Black Obsidian I wore it around my neck on a piece of string for a while. Good video mate, you're right, they did find something but it seems the amount of gold in the reef they tested wasn't worth the effort, can definitely be goid for us new timers though 👍👍

Looks like you tested all the best spots around those diggings. I was hoping that you would have found larger specks. 'Hit and Miss' Creek it is then! A little pocket of gold would be nice to find.

Way to go Kev, that’s a fair bit of work you put in for those specks. But as you said that’s prospecting! You won’t find it, if you’re not out there looking for it.
