@@waynegray5568 From 1927 until 1943, Dorothy Arzner was the only woman director working in Hollywood. First woman to direct a film noir, Ida Lupino, is widely regarded as the most prominent female filmmaker working in the 1950s during the Hollywood studio system. There were many more women directors if we look at the era of silent films.

Too cool !!! New here, but liked and subscribed this visit. I've found a gold mine! Old movies and movies and more movies. This will be my winter nights when the snow sets in, but will have to preview some of them. Whoever you are, wherever you are, thanks from disabled senior.

Ida Lupino is a role model for women wanting to get a head in Hollywood. She was tough and didn't take much guff.

I like Ida Lupino I like anything she does the only thing it was so short I was disappointed but it wasn't supposed to be a full length movie I guess but she couldn't go wrong with any things that she does thank you

I love Midsomer Murders theme song with the theremin and aside from the great acting and story, got to listen to a bunch of weird theremin effects. They fascinate me because you don't touch a theremin, watch the woman playing Midsomer Murders theme. She moves her hands around and doesn't touch anything. Been hearing quite a lot of theremin music because I've been binge watching old movies. When they couldn't depend on special effects and actually had to write a story and not depend on action and special effects. You can see her perform it on KZbin. She's a talented woman.

When she opened the closet door, and part of the dress flew out, I thought she opened a door to the outside!! 😆 And I also think she looks much better with the different makeup job and hairstyle, as in her photograph!

SPOILER.........don't read if you dont want to know the ending!!Hahaaa! This was good. I love Ida Lupino! But the script made me laugh. Who slaps their first wife silly, tell her he wishes she was dead, kills her, acts like a lunatic then snaps out of it in a minute with the new sympathetic woman? But I loved it and thanks for posting it!
