His autobiography is a pleasure to read. It really feels like Frazier is talking to you. He's so straightforward and down to earth.

No wonder he went so many rounds with Ali. The knowledge about being short and on the inside and how a tall guy needs space is everything. Joe was a great boxer with great knowledge.

Frazier didn't have all the dazzling wordplay or model looks of Ali, but he was a real man straight up and down. Willing to tear a hole through any obstacle in front of him with relentless determination and brutal grit and possess himself with strength and confidence. Can't ask more from a champ than that

FM J Ali loved Joe it's he was just promoting the fights
@fmj41384 жыл бұрын
@@saqib7965 So that makes it ok to speak to him or anyone in that way? As long as you 'love' them? I don't go with that.
@patrickstar60654 жыл бұрын
FM J u obviously don’t get what promoting means bud, Muhammad Ali didn’t mean 90% of what he said to joe. However he he apologized to joe after the fights if he said anything that hurt him. It’s called “hyping” up the crowd into watching the fight, Ali was smart in terms of doing that
@brancaleonedanorcia46224 жыл бұрын
Talking bad of a person for money is something bad, and Ali did that a lot. But I remember their interaction when Foreman came back to fighting and they were trading jokes and having fun.
@hardcorehouse3 жыл бұрын
The insults were way out of bounds; he should have at least told Frazier they were just for promo when he said them, instead of after fights
