No it's the pipe dream of someone who figured out how elon musk scams people and implemented that formula into his own scam. Here's the steps on how elon and neom are scamming. 1. Create a grandiose idea and put it into a cgi commercial. 2. Market that video to everyone you can in attempt to get a many eyes looking at it. 3. Tell everyone looking that this is just the beginning and your idea will only get bigger and better with time. Over promise and under deliver 4. Start the construction with bare minimum effort to cut as many costs as possible. 5. Collect as many donations as possible and tell everyone that with more money you can reach the goal faster. 6. As time goes slowly make downgrades to the cgi until after a couple years the new claim is totally different what people expected at the beginning. 7. Finish the bare minimum then abandon the project and move on to the next scam. Now you know why the hyperloop, reusable rockets and neom exist. Their just fronts for scams.

Obviously trying to prepare for when no longer a petroleum assets dependent country. Obviously need to focus on the most important megaprojects, and forget about theme parks or anything too unnecessary and that's detrimental to The Line. I've always been impressed with The Line. I think it's great, and demonstrates the most important love and care for own population that I've been shown so far. A paradise, besides what offer for foreigners. It's an undeniably incredible feat of architecture and engineering, and yes in Spain we know about The Roman Empire, but it's never made clear about which ones in what left of The Al Andalus, but Umayyads are Saudi nowadays. NEOM was the flagship designed to bring in all the other projects, it was an unrealistic design given the timeframe for completion. I don't believe they will get to 2.4KM by 2030 and some of the projects tagged on will not come to fruition, they are exactly the idea's and concepts if they get scaled back 98% like the line we might have a problem?? Reality is they have cheap labour and land, problem is they don't have enough sand suitable for construction. The amount of sand required is in the billions of tons and the price tags per project failed to apportion concreate construction requirements. Bunch of building engineers clean slate, any idea goes this is what you get, then the bean finance team come in with the budget idea gets scaled, then the first bills start coming in, finance ask for scaling engineers drop basic crap to try maintain a building design. Final result nice shinny rock with mirrored glass that lacks sanitation, utilities are off grid, roading infrastructure is limited, integration with other projects is non existent because someone's ego. I will give credit where it is due, designs / 3D imaging it all looks good in isolation. If I was to give a progress grade it would be a D.
