Murat not only creates masterpieces but sees them next level constantly.....what makes him so special is that for me he's an emphatic perfumer who values end customer satisfaction..... I have layered Jovoy phycadelique with incident diplomatique......Tous 1920 with Lalique encre noire a lextreme .....Zara tobacco collection white with red.....they all work superbly for me... But will try this Nishane layering too......

Hacivat plus Ambra Calabria, it works for me cause I felt that the Moss in Hacivat and the Vanilla in Ambra were too strong for a summer scent and now I can smell them smoother.

Layering always satisfies that science-y aspect of fragrance for me. Lately I've loved layering Tom Ford Plum Japonais with Tobacco Vanille. It is rich and sweet without being heavy. There are wood and spice and dark fruit and florals, but it never feels feminine. Wonderful combo. From Tennessee!

I also like Hacivat with Molecule 01. 2 sprays of M01 to 1 spracy Hacivat. Nice for softening the intensity of Hacivat and boosting the woody notes.

I haven’t tried Nishane. You look so happy which makes me curious to smell this combo. My previous attempts at layering didn’t work, but yesterday I had a new idea. I was wearing Fior De Chinotto which is an indolic white floral. My coat smelled like Delina. I liked the combo, so I’m going to try on skin. Delina goes very tart on me. I think the white floral will make it more feminine. Great video 😍

I personally don't layer to not overpower the quieter notes in a fragrance. But I found that layering is effective when strong fragrances are involved. I like to layer Oud Ispahan and Gris Montaigne because GM tones down the animalic side of OI if I want to wear it to work.

If you try this, wait for the dry down. I was only getting one fragrance or the other for the first 2 hours. After that, they started to blend together when the powdery & vanilla notes of NSW and the woody & mossy notes of Hacivat came through.

Since you have such a big collection I think you should do more layering videos. I love this topic because then I can put to use all those other frags which I hardly reach for. Some legendary combos are Elysium with Br540, Aventus with Br540. I would love to try Hacivat on it’s own because of its potency which Aventus lacks.

I often layer Mancera's Wild Leather with Eli Saab's Girl of Now. Let me start off by saying that I am obsessed with GON all on its own! Also, whenever I try to wear WL on its own, I find it to be a bit too leathery/saffronny on my body (for my liking). But layered with GON, it becomes so much more refined, feminine, sweet and wearable.

I have not tried this house previously although I would certainly like to try it in the future. The only layering I have done previously was actually quite by accident. I wore Thierry Mugler Pure Malt and a few hours later before going out for the evening I wanted to do a quick refresh, but inadvertently used Pure Havanne instead. With the base notes being basically the same and the real difference being the Boozy finish on Malt and the Tobacco finish for Havanne, the end result was actually pretty good! I have done it on purpose several times since then. I might try this combo in the video! Smelling great here in Cleveland, OH area.

I never even thought about it too much, but layering sounds like it could make some unique combinations. I think it would work best with to scents from the same house. Hi Sebastian! I’m actually quite new to the world of niche fragrances and this is my first time hearing of Nishane. I’ve never layered fragrances before, mostly because I just don’t quite know how to go about it 🤷♀️ Your videos turned me on to Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Parfums de Marly, so I TOTALLY trust your judgement and look forward to getting my nose on some Nishane! Look forward to your next video :) -Hillorie from Kentucky

I'm not quite a purest when it comes to layering. Yet, I feel that there is a proper approach to doing it that should be observed. For one, it's more often than not defeating the purpose by placing one scent atop another in the exact placecon the skin. I've found that I get much better performance by either placing sprays in close proximity to each other or in alternating spots. Let's say for example one scent on the back of the hand & the other on the wrist... Then reverse that on the other hand. Or citrus around the neck & darker scents on the wrists works very well for me also.

Not participating, just commenting: Dear Sebastian! Great video! I love how you LOVE what you've discovered. I am, in fact, a huge fan of layering. Sometimes I do it, to bring out a note in a frag by adding another frag with the same note. Other times I layer to give a frag a total new nuance (for instance: When I wear a very sweet & girly fragrance and I find it too one-dimensional, I add I little oud to it, to give it a kick. Works almost every time and I get compliments on those days). I admit that it is a trial-and-error process, but the more you train your nose, the less errors you make. Have a wonderful day! Hugs from Europe!

Great Video! Have been experimenting with layering recently and find it interesting how the heart/base notes can mix so beautifuly by layering..Couple of my favorite layering combos are - (1) Oud (Tom Ford Oud Wood or Creed Royal Oud) mixed with Vanilla(Montalle Vanilla Ecstasy) gives it a rich creamy texture. Wowee!!! This is a helluva giveway! The only Nishane that I have tried are Afrika Olifant and Duftblaten. Not a fan of either. That combo sounds great. I don't layer often. Recently I tried what I thought would be amazing: a plum patchouli with some other fragrance I can't remember and it was ugly. I may try the plum patch with Sumatera (a cinnamon frag) for Christmastime. The whole sugar plums deal. I am not good at layering because I have too many fragrances and can't find things when I want them or think of all of them. So, I just grab and go based on what speaks to me that day. I'm in Ohio.
