At 5:32 "It turned out that Kaoru has a personal grudge against a Battousai because several years ago, the real Battousai killed her father very cruelly" - THIS IS INCORRECT! Kaoru has been looking for the fake Battousai because he was killing people and spread a rumor that he was using the Kamiya Kasshin Ryu, a sword-style created by Kaoru's father. This eventually tarnished the reputation of the Kamiya Kasshin dojo where Kaoru teaches causing people to stay away. This was a plot by Takeda so he could buy the dojo. The story is different in the anime. The film version is compressed and characters were mixed up. In the anime version, the fake Battousai was Hiruma Gohei, a former student of Kamiya Kasshin and not Udo Jin-e, a former Shinsengumi officer. These two characters and two different storylines were joined together in the film version to turn a 60-episode story into a 6-hour trilogy.

i want to see realistic sword fighting movie where main hero wins a couple sword fights in a row cuzz he is master swordsman, but dies cuzz of infection xD, back in the day they had no antibiotics or knew how to disinfect wounds also winners of sword duels as well normally ended up with injuries, a guy might get away once in a while with no blood infection after getting cuts in a sword fight, but getting multiple ones in short period of time pretty much guarantees that you gonna die if not from fight itself then from blood infection later, which is also the main reason why samurais used katanas in actual fights only as a last resort options. the bows were actually their main weapon.

@@martinarreguy2984 there are 5 kenshin movies in total, the 3 not on netflix are in japanese with subtitles and are what made enough money to make the 4th and 5th and put them on netflix, easily the most successful live action anime adaptation franchise and it isn't even close. I imagine its so successful where most fail because a lot of it is grounded in history and is more realistic than most animes. probably makes it easier to turn it live action.

S-H-O-G-U-N. Shogun not Shagun. Aritomo Yamagata is Lord of the Imperial Army and NOT a shinsengumi leader. So the repeated use of the term Shinsengumi police is WRONG. Hajime Saito is the only member of the shinsengumi in the police force and he is also NOT the leader of the whole force thus once again the term shinsengumi police is wrong. Kurogasa DIDN'T kill Kaoru's father. Her anger with jinei is caused by jinei using the Kamiya Kashin Ryu's name to murder people, hence kenshin's remark "Your father never wished his daughter's life to be wasted JUST TO DEFEND THE WAY OF THE SWORD".

At 7:50 "After receiving information from Saito, Admiral Yamagata finally learns that Kenshin is a rebellious samurai who has slaughtered many people to reach a new era and bring peace to Japan." - THIS IS INCORRECT AGAIN! Yamagata Aritomo was the HEAD of the rebellion and was now Prime Minister. He knew Kenshin right away because he was the secret weapon of the Ishin-Shishi - the organization that Yamagata was leading during the Bakufu (Shogunate). In fact, it was weird to see Hajime Saitou working for him since the Ishin-Shishi and the Shinsengumi were enemies. I can't watch any more of this. This is blasphemy. I am stopping here.
