There seem to be several of these on/around the 40.66 MHz - 40.70 MHz band. I’ve heard lots of POCSAG and POCSAG-like signals while listening to VHF low band on UK based receivers. I’m not sure where they’re coming from, but the band seems to be open to central/southern Europe when these signals come in. Like the Greek pager on 31.150 MHz is there, lots and lots of paging activity on 26-27 MHz plus 29.800 MHz / 29.900 MHz and other frequencies.

Australia still has some pagers for within large facilities that use 40.680MHz and various modulation systems.
