I don't know if I'll get a reply since it's been a while since this was posted, but I am confused. The first cream colored section on your mug rug is the cast on plus 5 rows. But the second cream colored section (at the end) is only 3 rows plus the cast off. Is that correct? It seems like the cast off side will have a narrower band of the first color.
@gofffamily6411 Жыл бұрын
I noticed this after I made mine. It is noticeable. I'm gonna subtract that extra row of 1st color. Need the knits for second color or you get purl dash.

I’m sorry Denise, I don’t know what you mean by ‘block’. I watched more of the video and saw that, until you stretched the project, yours looked similar to mine. I think the reason why mine looked quite so bad is that the yarn I used was too big 🙄. I will try again with something a bit thinner. Thanks for your help ☺️.

Same. I just made one and my cast off was SSOO much wider than the cast on. But I have the feeling it's my yarn, not the pattern. I'm trying another one in a different yarn. EDIT: cast on was wider, even after pulling the loose loops. The cast OFF was very narrow even compared to the body of the fabric.

I don;t see any difference with flat knit or u-wrap, other than how you hold it. Is there?
@LoomaHat4 жыл бұрын
The flat is a tighter stitch. The more you bend the yarn the looser the stitch. That’s why the eWrap , where you completely wrap or bend the yarn around the peg is the largest and the most loose.
@ritaschiferl3615 Жыл бұрын
Stitches are way too tight. You have to mention the gauge of the loom and the yarn you're using, as well. I tried a few rows and was not impressed with the side edges. I'll be looking for other patterns.
