Hi Denise, My looming things had all been put away in a big plastic bag until I saw one of your videos last week. Now, I've not only brought everything back out again, but have made 4 hats, and a couple of scarves! Thank you for helping me get my looming juices flowing again!

You are so amazing and your daughter is a beautiful model. I am 73 and until I found you on face book a year ago I had no idea how rewarding your teaching would become in my life. I have made hats and scarves and finally blankets. When I'm no longer here my children can wrap themselves in my labor of love. Thank you again and God bless.

Denise, last year I taught my Mom the basics of loom knitting and she is addicted!! I just had her watch this video and she say " oh, I can do that. She explains easier so I can follow along"! Other tutorials (other channels) she got overwhelmed. So, she turned 80 yesterday and she is making her first scarf today! Thank you!!

I made a friend of mine this scarf for XMas last year and she loved it. Since that time, I have made 2 more for my godchildren and now have an open loom and starting ANOTHER one tonight for a teacher who I dearly love and just retired. I don't know if it is the stitch, or the yarn and the combination of both that people find so fascinating. BUT, you are correct, Denise, it is very easy once you get the pattern down. I can knit during TV time or listen to my radio shows. Where ever you found this pattern, it is a GEM and I hope many, many people will make this scarf. So easy and very pretty. I did use a #4 weight yarn, not doubled, just a single strand. I think I want to try and chunky one for my other God Daughter, she runs cold natured and think it will turn out fine for her. I will make it a bit shorter as she is very short. THANK YOU again for sharing this pattern.....sure is a keeper, as you are, my friend! Keep FL warm for us, lol, will be there in late September for a family reunion in the Port St. Lucie area. Also, I need to get over to the Tampa/St. Pete area to see a childhood friend of mine who just retired and moved to FL 6 months ago. Hugs, Denise, THANKS AGAIN! Annie

Ann I'm soooo happy you liked it. I truly love this project. By the way, I tried this as a chunky scarf with a thicker yarn - I recommend you double knit the last peg - don't slip the first stitch. I'm hoping I can get back to it this winter ... stay tuned - you'll know if I did

I am LOVING this project. I am trying to avoid blocking and have been doing a true knit on the last loop then bringing it in front on the second peg to overcast and start the sequence again. It seems to be holding the edge more flat. You mentioned in the scarf that the purl stitch would keep it from curling. Is it possible to amend patterns to avoid blocking? Your teaching is the best I have found and I keep coming back to your site. I bought your 10 stitches and love that too on my kindle.

Yes - fabric curls when you just use one type of stitch - like a eWrap best to add at least 1 purl line or row of purl.
