Beautiful ❤thank you so much! You have given me ideas for gifts as well. I mean, who doesn’t love knitted/crocheted items? It’s such a lost art and I sincerely enjoyed teaching my students, boys and girls, hot to hand knit/crochet. They were so inspired by my projects I’d take to school to work on during lunch or “homework” periods at the end of the day. ❤Great work! Thank you for such great explanations and demos.

hi there - You can make anything into a toilet paper cover but you would need to figure out the row count to close the top. I hope that makes sense. I have a toilet paper cover pattern. Here's a link kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIW8d4evm5utb7s

My loom has 40 pegs instead of 41. What, if any changes should be made to the pattern?
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat 11 ай бұрын
I know it may sound crazy but I don't recall the pattern perfectly anymore but I don't think an odd numbered loom is required so you should be able to work the pattern as is.

Can you use a smaller than worsted weight yarn for this? Someone gave me some finer yarn that I've been looking for projects to use it. Also, would you suggest cotton if you make a smaller one as a doily coaster (since it probably will get dirty from use)?
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use a thinner yarn - it will just look more lacey and you may need to add more rows to get the same size. I actually prefer cotton - but these were a request from my husband - who does most of the cooking and he did not want cotton.

Before making mine I pondered the choice between acrylic and cotton. I will be using mine between cast iron pans in a humid climate. I was concerned the Cotton would absorb and hold moisture between my pans and possibly cause rust. I figured the acrylic would provide air flow with no absortion.

Yes, you can use the 36 but the pattern is different for every size loom. Different number of rows.
