I love the shaping of this into a very nice neck wrap. I recently ran across a video for needle knitting of the bird's eye stitch. It's just a stitch pattern but it works super well on a loom. I didn't really know what to do with it but your video has solved that problem! I think it would make a great neck warmer as the resulting fabric is thick even when using regular #4 worsted yarn. My goal for 2024 is to convert needle-knit patterns into loom patterns. I'm hoping to have fun with it. 😁

This project is all about the yarn, imo. That high twist in the strand is fabulous! What yarn did you use? This is the perfect project for showing off lovely yarns and interesting buttons.

Ok, I made this the moment you released the pattern, but I can't get it to lay right and my head is too big...anyone have any suggestions? I made the rectangle a little wider and shortened the join...

Mine came out 12x18 instead of 8.5x18. I suppose it has to do with the yarn difference and how your tension is. Did you block it? The stitches really relax when you soak it and then stretch it and pin it down.
