@@grass49 you say that as if the camera man’s goal is anything other than to provoke the guard into reacting defensively while under the only reasonable assumption that you may be casing his truck or something along the lines of preparing to commit a robbery. Why “audit” an armored car company? That’s ridiculous. They’re just doing their jobs, and people like you become apologists for idiots like the man or woman behind the camera whose only intention is to irritate and aggravate someone who’s just minding their own business by following company policy and ensuring cash gets from one place to another.

I mean just let him do this job? It’s already stressful enough handling insane amounts of money out in the open. It doesn’t help you recording the guy and watching him the entire time. Could have just pulled off and came back

Funny how you think your doing something “good” or even think it’s okay to just do this. When In reality your just a guy causing unnecessary problems for a business and loomis. It’s really suss you just waiting to film a truck on a route with money, during a Service on ATM. I get it, you need views comments ect. But It’s really alarming you find this funny man. This looks like your casing and planing a robbery.

CIT guards are literally executed every week. People case those trucks every day. It’s bot about being “terrified” it’s about not wanting to die and take any chances. Do you have a right to film them as long as you are on public property? Absolutely. Are you being an asshole by doing it? 100% lol. When I did ATMs my goal was to not get shot in the head and robbed for money I didn’t care about. People recording me (that could be casing me) did not make me less stressed.

As a SO myself, I do my job and if a camera enters the picture (and I am doing my job and not committing a crime) I do not care if a camera films me. In fact (in his position) I would love a camera. If for some reason monies "disappear" and the camera proves that I did not "pocket" the monies -- I could be vindicated and not lose my job. On the other hand, If monies did "disappear" and the camera shows "potential questionable acts", then it can be used against me. A camera does not lie and is the perfect witness. It knows neither bias or anything else. If you are not doing anything wrong - you have nothing to worry.

What you do is take a photo. Get back in the truck and call 9-1-1. Ask the officer(s) to do a well-being check. Other then that. Just do your job and service the ATM. Swap the money inside the truck. Don’t make anymore out of it. Also, why is he wearing a mask outside!? I mean, he’s allowed to film him. I use to work for Loomis.

His paranoia caused him to delay his job. He is on a very tight schedule. He has so many machines to "hit" and he must do it in a time allotted for each stop. His paranoia caused the company a delay. He also left his equipment unattended.

@davidgiles4681
@davidgiles4681 3 жыл бұрын
Assume the cops do come. So you are filming the exchange of monies. You have not advanced upon him. You have not approached him. You have not interfered with his duties. Given that he probably makes about 10 -15 /hr, people are prone to "relieving other peoples monies" for themselves. That is a fact. If you film him doing his job and monies are then missing, he can use your footage to acquit himself and he would be thanking you for the footage. What are the cops going to do? You did not approach him. You did not stop him from his duties You did not record any entry code (nor were you interested in such information). He was armed and you were not - that means that you were not a threat to him (from an armed perspective). Since you did not approach him, he can not claim "fear of my life because he moved towards me in a threatening manner". Again, what are the cops going to say? In public privacy is not expected. If you are a known 1AA, the cops will know that you do just that and have a reputation (good or bad) for such activities.
