ATTENTION EVERYONE! It appears I made a small mistake! There is indeed a tutorial at the very beginning of the game that I had completely forgotten about, during which they actually do direct you through the combo attacks. I don't normally make mistakes like this, so apologies. All the same, I don't much feel like re-editing or re-recording the video as this game was painful enough the first time around. Once again, apologies! That'll teach me for loading an old save and not starting fresh.

I did enjoyed the video (not so much the game) the multiplayer deathmatch isn't much,ratchet does a much better job at that, it clearly shows inspiration from r&c even in the first ratchet and clank game is more easier to smash enemies with melee attacks than shooting (except for a few flying enemies) I can't wait to see your next review, thanks for sharing!

I just discovered your channel, and I loved it. It's always fun to remember licensed games that I played when I was younger, and even discover some that I haven't heard of. This specific game, I bought because I thought it was cool to have a game from the (at the time) current generation of consoles, since I didn't own an Xbox 360 or a PS3 at the time. I thought it was bad when I played and apparently it is as bad as I remembered. Very fun video, congratulations! Also, if you accept suggestions, a good game for your channel would be the samurai jack one, a decent and fun enough action/platformer. Cheers from Brazil!

Halfway through the video i had an unlocked a memory. This game i believe was only 15 pounds at the time of release and i was offered this game instead of Easter eggs and snacks for Easter. I took that option. I actually liked this game as a child. Wasn't as good as back in action though

I found it hilarious, how in co-op mode with split screen, it automatically teleport second player with you, while in "B&T: Time Busters" you can do that with the press of a button. :T Oh well, haha. Still kinda shame that the idea of the game didn’t realize properly, cuz I agree with you about the potential. But oh well, what can we do Cx Also, for no reason 15:02 this segment with scooter reminds me an another segment from "Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble" on SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive if anyone played that ^^

I think both games have bad co-op tbh. Bugs and Taz isn't *too* bad but you can only walk so far before the camera cuts off the one character completely. 😂

I would’ve seriously given this game a try despite the faults of the lighting. However there’s one fault that you have show here that makes me never want to buy this game, and that’s the story. The story in this game is just so BAD. It just might be the worst put together story I have ever seen in a video game. It’s sad because classic Looney Tunes cartoons have decent stories that set up the gags within them (with the exception of Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote, which didn’t need a story). Here though, the story feels very disjointed, incomplete, and the ending is nowhere near satisfying.

Looney Tunes: ACME Arsenal is one of the worst licensed video games of all time and i going to talk about why. 1. Gameplay is a shallow clone of Ratchet & Clank. 2. Bland level design, they are so badly made that there are a lot of shortcut. The levels design is quite horrible too. 3. Lazily made tutorial, which only shows what inputs you need to perform over, but does not show or even tell what actions the inputs will cause you to preform. 4. Enemy designs are recycled throughout the game in which make the game even more boring. 5. Uninspired weapons, especially for Looney Tunes standards. 6. Ammo for the few cool weapons in the game is scarce. 7. Horrible bosses, in fact there are not many bosses in the game. They are so frustrating that you will probably rage quit the game. 8. Weak and lazily designed visuals. In some zones textures on surfaces such as walls are seemly missing, instead looking as if some surfaces are of a single color. 9. Gags aren't as funny as in the cartoons. 10. Characters repeat their one-liners very often which became really annoying. 11. Poor controls especially in the Wii version, they are so unresponsive that it's make the game unplayable really often. 12. Poor targeting system. 13. Bad collision detection, sometimes you go through the enemies when you fight them which make the combat really bad. 14. The camera is really troublesome, it's so bad that sometime when you fighting a ennemy you will not see it. Even Pac-Man World 3 camera is better than this and that game was release in 2005. 15. Game crashes only for playing after a few hours. 16. Some characters such as Sylvester, Porky Pig or even Yosemite Sam is not even playable which is really stupid because they are some of the most well know characters from the franchises. well, the voice acting, the cutscenes with 3d animations, the box art, the soundtrack and good funny moments in the cutscenes are the best parts of this game.

I just played this game for the first time literally today and apparently your not the only one who couldn't get the Tweety trophy on the PS2 but I played the PS2 version and I was able to get the Tweety trophy and there is no reward for getting all of the trophies they're literally just for bragging rights

😠 ... *This game.* Good gravy gosh, do I have a grudge against this game. 😤 I was hype as heck when it was announced. Thought the overt use of guns was a bit weird, but whatever, I'd run with it. Then time passed, I couldn't find it anywhere. When I finally did, my enthusiasm was dimmed, but I was still curious. Paid full price for the thing, just to see if it would pay off. I pretty much had the same reaction as yourself. 😵 For some reason, the cutscenes never played on my original copy, so I was left with *even less context.* I got frustrated, then bored, then never played it again. Sold it some time later. Bought it again cheap a few years ago, just see if it was that bad. And yeah, it was *worse* than I remember. Everything from the crap lighting, the weird models, the lazy writing's pathetic attempt at a mystery and lazier game design is just so terrible. I've never even seen this on PS3 or XBox 360, only for PS2 and Wii, but I'm glad I didn't get them. Probably would've put a curse on the damn machine. It feels unfinished and like it's trying to almost ape Ratchet & Clank's mechanics, but only saw them through a hole in a wall while playing Chinese Whispers with someone on the other side. Such a pity, since there's (maybe?) a germ of an idea here. I'd like another good Looney Tunes game. Are we beyond it? I hope not. Also, Danger Mouse references. Oh how I smiled. 😁

The cutscenes don't always play well on my PS2. Usually what happens is the background SFX of the previous level seems to 'stick' and it attempts to play the clip alongside it, if that makes any sense, so it winds up crashing or just skipping over the cutscene entirely. Not that they give you much context anyway. 😛 I would also like another Looney Tunes game. It would have so much potential- a huge, open world game in which you can explore various 'universes' or locations as different characters. It sounds ambitious and very unlikely but it would be so good. The Xbox 360 version looks a lot better but it's not great. By far, the worst Looney Tunes game I've played. I was hoping that Danger Mouse reference would be received well. 😂

@@idonthaveanose I don't think there could ever be a good version of this. 😆 See, I'd personally disagree with an open-world approach. I mean don't get me wrong, to see all the major LT locations in a big, old world and beyond is extremely enticing, but - as No Man's Sky and many other sandboxes proved - other than a sight-seeing tour, what do you put in it? The other Looney Tunes games work, I think anyway, because while there *is* exploration, but they are otherwise linear, focused experiences with good level design. Also, lots of cameos is a must, but keeping a small core cast would be nice. The Mad Scientist (I think at some point they started calling him Dr Moron) is a solid bad guy. You see the old Disney games do this, including the one you review a while back - frame the game like you would a short. Beginning, middle, end and load it with gags. Well, he is amazing. And fantastic. 😁 I think I appreciate DM way more now than when I was little seeing reruns on Boomerang as kid. That and Duckula.

I think it would be an interesting world to explore. Either way, there are loads of possibilities - as I said in this review, I don't understand why there's never been a Road Runner PlayStation game. Though I've never played No Man's Sky myself, I always got the impression a major issue was that it was oversold. If it had been a low-key release, maybe the reception might not have been overwhelmingly negative? Though I haven't heard many positive comments either way. It looked kind of dull. Ah, he was called Dr Moron in a webtoon, based on The Island of Dr Moreau. 😂 Not the biggest fan of the webtoons- some weren't bad, but the flash animation just looked awful. In fact, the new Danger Mouse had a similar style of animation. The animation itself doesn't bother me- but the show isn't the same for me. It's lacking the charm of the 80s series.

@@idonthaveanose Well, would you believe there was a Road Runner game for the SNES? Never played it myself, only ever came across it through Spriter's Resource, so I can't tell you if it's any good. Lovely sprites, mind. I think a Looney Tunes game with that flat, graphic look to characters and backgrounds (more textures, less lighting, like SDnW) I think that would be a good base for the whole aesthetic. Gameplay-wise, I think there's all sorts of stuff you could make out of old gags. Make a legit funny game. Ah yes, the webtoons. I still enjoy some of those. Even got them on DVD. There was an official release, much to my bafflement. 😆 Funnily enough, I recently discovered that "moron" is the Welsh word for *carrot.* Considering the webtoon in question, this is either clever research or a staggering coincidence. 🤣 New Danger Mouse is clearly Flash, but *good* flash, like how My Little Pony uses it. The LT webtoons animation is... not great. Very mid-2000s Flash when people didn't quite know how to optimally utilise it. Old DM has better writing, I think. It indulges more in the really weird English humour.

I had heard about that Road Runner game! No idea what it's like myself. I also have the webtoons on DVD, haha! Never watch them though. They didn't release all of them. There were many others that didn't get a release- they improved on the animation of the early ones but it still doesn't look great to me. Danger Mouse is apparently animated using Toon Boom Harmony. I don't think it looks too horrible but it lacks the charm of traditional animation, even if it wasn't the best. But ultimately DM was all about the humour, and now that's lost for me. The new series does nothing for me, I wish they'd left it alone. The last couple of seasons of the original run were pretty dull themselves, so I kinda felt the series went on long enough. I feel like Looney Tunes are due a revival. A good revival. Not like Wabbit. I've heard loads of news over the last few years, rumours about new movies, but heard nothing more recently. No idea what's going on with them.
