Was checked once and it turned out my license was expired, I told the cop that i just completely missed it since i was in and out of the hospital around the time it expired and after all that, I simply didn't think of it. The guy gave me a ticket but did give me the ((we're going the other way so we won't see if it if ride home)). And i admit that was my fault. The guy kept things short and to the point, No nonsense and he never bothered to tell me anything i didn't need to know or what i already knew. He could have taken my bike, Let me walk home ((i was a 1 hour walk away from home at 0:30 at night)), Or even give me a ticked for driving without insurance since it's technically not valid if your license is expired. But he never did any of all that. And even let me ride home. Some cops are fine and don't deserve that hate, Others are assholes. I used to think the way I acted while young and dumb was the reason why cops are dicks. Turns out theyre just dicks. Im very anti social and aside from the store and work I dont leave my house. I work evenings and still get slow rolled by the police walking in my work clothes and im almost 40. I was even walking home from work at 930 and asked to identify myself because I was walking down the street while they were at a call for a broken window. I was literally 4 houses from home minding my own business. I live in a small town 100 miles from a large city and cops are plain dicks for no reason. When I say I do nothing I mean I literally dont leave my house unless its for work, going to the store, or to walk my dog. Its the opposite of what people think. Most cops are dicks with the occasional good one. Every citizen is looked at as a crook unless you jump through hurdles for them to prove youre a law abiding citizen.

Last summer I went for a late night bike ride on my old CBR 600. On a four-lane divided highway near the outskirts of town three Harley's blew past me in the left lane. A half mile ahead we all had to stop at a traffic light and I can see they are all members of a local 1% gang. Two are parked side by side in front, with the third guy behind and an empty slot next to him. I pulled up about 15 ft shy of the empty spot and stopped. I really didn't want any part of whatever those guys were up to. After sitting there for about 10 seconds, the one guy who was behind didn't even turn around but simply pointed to the empty spot next to him. I thought "oh s*** what's going down?"I kind of timidly pulled up next to him and flipped my visor up while at the same time looking for escape routes if s*** went sideways. My advice would be NOT to just get one (legally) and start carrying. People get themselves in a heap of legal trouble by doing so. Before you go down that rabbit hole, you must be honest with yourself. Would you have ANY problem in taking someone else's life? damn, i was riding my 600cc enduro yamaha xt600 here in norway, witch is by NO MEANS a fast bike. it got top speed of MAYBE 140 km/h .. its meant for offroad, dirt trails. and i was out riding in the mountain asfalt roads, and got behind a HUUUUUGE slow moving queue. it was going 30-50 in a 80 sone. so i pass allot of cars, then i see allllllot of bikers. and i knew nothing of the rules they got about passing, but all the way in the back a crew of 5 bikers waved me past. and i thought, greate, super duper. i pass them and nod a thank you.. go further and the next huge crew is there, 40 bikers. and in my stupid brain i thought to myself i could pass them since the first guys let me pass... short end of the story they were hells angels and i got in the middle of the whole 40 bikers. they blocked me in, "pushed" me to the sides of the roads and allmost off into the woods... yeah.. i still get some adrenalin flow after that episode.. dont mess with these crews, let them just be alone. unless you drive some fast sport bike or something and you can pass the whole gang in on go.. man that episode sucked donkey balls.

Clubs think they own you and your life if you join one. I've been making money as a mechanic from when I was 12 years old. After I graduated school I worked on motorcycles as a side job. When I joined a club the members thought I should work on their stuff for free. Then one of them found a motorcycle I was working on that belonged to a member of another club. They told me I couldn't do that. How do I make money working for free and turning away paying jobs? I walked away. Several years later I was transferred to another part of the country so I purchased a house with a large garage and continued my little side job working on motorcycles for fun and extra money. I was also asked to join a local motorcycle club, which I did. All the faces were different but the attitudes were all exactly the same. Work on our stuff for free and don't you dare work on anything else. That was the end of even considering being in any sort of motorcycle club ever again.

I'm curious. What kind of MC's were these? I mean there are HOG members, and other 'riding groups' who, not all but more than some, think they are in a 3 patch club and try and act like it. RUB's if you know what I mean. Then, 3 patch/outlaw clubs. You can't just join a 3 patch club. Start as a 'hang around' until maybe you get asked to prospect. After a LONG while of that, then maybe they'll want you to get the full top and bottom rocker. And yes, they own you, your bike, your property and your wife. So, I'm guessing these were just non-3 patch clubs? Did they get permission to form a patched club? Even a patched non outlaw club must get permission from the local outlaw governing council to ride as a patched club. Sorry to ask so many questions, but your comment was somewhat confusing. Ride safe.

I'll make or restore that part you need. I'm old now and no longer do stuff for others, only for myself now. That's the reason clubs wanted me as a member. I could get that old bike that sat because a part was impossible to obtain and get it going as good as new, maby even better than new. As for RUB's, I like them! I loved taking piles of cash from them for something I built like no one else has

@@XSR_RUGGER My my, so judgemental without knowing anything about it. There are many different parts to the biker culture. Plutoni Moto, when riding up on a motorcycle club, 1. Don't get too close, they don't know who you are and you could be a hitman 2. Don't just pass, for the above reason 3. Move into the rear riders mirror view so he can see you. If necessary blip the throttle once 4. He will signal you to pass (as this one did) when it is safe for you to do so. Yea, they couldn't give 2 shits about his Go Pro. The tail rider just didn't want him anywhere near them, that's why he was crowding the lane. If Plutoni had just stayed in the opposite lane and ignored them, they would have done the same, but he obviously didn't do that. Outlaw clubs, even in a small pack have to keep an eye out for rival clubs that may want to do them harm, and it's the Enforcers job to keep an eye out for possible trouble. Trying to get the group in your video by repeatedly getting near them, put up some warning flags, that's all. I can tell you, they sure don't want to make a situation that attracts any attention either. Cheers

1:26 Lane splitting is only legal in California currently (as show at the clip starting at 6:36). Doesn't excuse the Dodge Ram from... well... ramming the biker in Colorado, but know your state laws so you're not surprised when found partially at fault for breaking them. Now to get back on the bandwagon of criticizing the Dodge driver, or any driver who thinks blocking a biker from lane splitting is warranted, just stop and let it go. A minor infraction on the biker's part is better than a major infraction by causing an accident. Common sense is at such a premium.

It's legally endorsed in 2 states. California & Utah. Five more states are in the process of legalizing it in some form. In 31 states it's outlawed & the remaining states it's permissible, but not legally endorsed or restricted by any laws.
