The story was pretty easy to follow if you're caught up with the lore. The castle they're in is basically Eden, its a prequel to Olivia's song since we can see the girls escaping one by one. Yves leaving on her own, Chuu going with her cause she loves her, the two of them convincing Go Won to come along, and then leaving Olivia behind before she eventually finds her own way out. The eating roses scene is probably a nod to eating the fruits or sinning to be expelled from Eden. Though I'm not sure what to make of the final scene with "God" clapping for her. Their repackage MV & concept, going off previous ones, will likely have a much darker tone & maybe we'll actually see Yeojin! She seems to be very connected to yyxy considering her whole MV revolves around her not wanting to "Kiss" aka eat your fruit & leave Eden. I'm also pretty sure you can see the frog from Kiss Later in Go Won's eye during the bridge of One & Only, right after she eats the fruit. Or maybe I'm just seeing things.

Hope Estheim I watched an analysis video on this and what I know is that God at the end is congratulating her to be the only one remaining in Eden while the others are gone. But Olivia's sad and lonely. She doesn't want that distinction so she decides to disobey God as well but while looking for the others, she got lost in the forest

Actually Oscar, the happy dancing scenes seem to be a recollection of Olivia's memories from happier times with the other girls. What leads me to believe this is the ending where it shows the girls doing the happy goofy dance but then Olivia is shown by herself, sad and dreary. The MV seems to be shown from Olivia's perspective; how she saw things which might not be what actually took place. There's so many possibilities. The repackage song MV can't come soon enough.

Actually this song is one of those songs that grow on you the more you listen to it, so I am sure after you listen to it a couple of more times you'll all give it a 10 :D When they were dancing it was cuts from them preparing that dance that the women monitoring them was watching in the end, it was like how they prepared the dance while they were still OT4 and then how they danced in front of the women to show her the dance they practiced, and by the end of the video the 3 girls left and Olivia ended up doing that dance herself. It's as if the dance was an evaluation, something they had to do. I wonder if that made sense. For me personally I didn't find it odd at all because I understood exactly where they were going with the MV and the story they were trying to tell.

This is my take on the story in the MV: 2:24 Teacher holding soiled socks. Only Yves, Chuu and GoWon is shown at the back. 2:28 Yves is reprimanded. Did the socks belong to her? How did the Teacher find out? 2:53 Yves soiled her socks and scene became tinted with red. Red tint used in Olivia scenes here & in Egoist. So my take is that Olivia is obedient and follow the rules while Yves is opposite and the other girls are complicit. Yves is constantly escaping the castle (Eden?) to the forest (Gardens of Eden?) which may be prohibited. Yves is found out and punished by the Teacher (God?). The girls may have believed that Olivia has betrayed Yves and snitched on her to the Teacher. The scenes where all the girls are seemingly dancing together happily may have occurred before this incident. Things start to take a bad turn from this point. 3:15 Yves, Chuu and GoWon is secretly planning something. 3:20 Olivia eavesdropping on their conversation. 3:38 Olivia seems to be angry with the others. The others seems to despise her. Yves, Chuu and GoWon is secretly planning to runaway from Eden. They leave Olivia out of their plans and their activities as they no longer trust her. However Olivia managed to find out what they are planning by secretly eavesdropping on their conversation. Olivia is angry at the girls for not trusting her and the girls despise Olivia for her supposedly betrayal. 4:22 Girls running away behind the Teacher's back. 4:35 Olivia sees it all but sits obediently and quietly. 4:39 Olivia watches as the other girls run away. 4:44 GoWon sees Olivia but the girls kept on running. 4:59 Olivia goes out in the forest looking for the girls. 5:24 Olivia back in the castle but now shown alone, applauded by the Teacher. Even though Olivia knew the girls were running away, she did not betray them to the Teacher. She went after them but she couldn't find them in the forest. They have already escaped from Eden. Even though GoWon did see Olivia, they did not wait for her. Even though she had help them to escape, they have left her behind. She returned back to the castle alone. The Teacher applauded her obedience in not running away with the other girls but the truth is that she wanted to. There are scenes that flashes before and after the other girls had left. In one scene, on the table you can see Yves, Chuu and GoWon had apples on their plates showing that they can leave Eden at anytime. Chuu had a green apple that means that she would only leave if she is together with Yves but not alone. However there is no apple on Olivia's plate, showing that she would not be able to leave Eden by herself. She is distraught that the other girls did not trust her and had abandoned her "4eva" in Eden.

This MV is sort of a prequel to their solos (like Sweet Crazy Love was for OEC) but it isn't a direct prequel in that some elements of their solos have parallels to scenes in this MV, like how Yves is the one who selects the girls (claw machine) and how Yves and Chuu then convince Gowon to leave with them, like in One & Only, and how Olivia is rejected, over and over and abandoned as in what happened before and during Egoist. How Olivia deals with being left alone is addressed in Egoist and not here, but maybe we'll see that in the yyxy repack. The cuts back and forth with the 4 girls singing and dancing for that woman and the scenes of Olivia being an outcast and Yves/Chuu/Gowon leaving are playing with time. At the end Olivia is alone, having done the routine by herself (you can see she's breathing heavily), and how it contrasts with the smiling and cheerfulness when all 4 are together. It's to give us a sense of the desperate isolation Olivia is feeling by comparing and contrasting. And by only revealing that at the very end, it's like a punch in the gut. I thought it well done. You should really watch the dance practice for this. They rock it.

My opinion is all of this just Olivia's memories, because it has 2 kind of filter, so her memories is bright filter and her reality is dark filter, and it happened before Egoist where finally she can set herself free from pain or anger maybe after being betrayed

The part where they're all together and dancing, my theory is that it can be Olivia Hye's memory. Until, Yves see her dark side? Not still sure but maybe. Great reaction btw 🖒🖒🖒

I've listened to the album and it is sooooooooooo good! Frozen is definitely competing with Love4eva at the moment, and oohhhhhh don't even get me started on One Way. When angels sing!

At first, after watching Olivia's video, I thought that maybe Olivia was denied Eden and was frowned upon, and the other girls were given approval by Eden but still decided to rebel. But now after watching this music video my mind got changed. It looks like Yves, Chuu, and GoWon denied Eden and left Eden on their own accord despite not having a real reason to want to leave, and Olivia actually got praised by Eden and stayed the longest. It kind of makes sense (not completely and i may just be reaching but bare with me) because during Olivia's video all those images of her angry, and being let go and not being chosen by the claw has a new meaning. I think Olivia either didn't want Eden's approval or didn't care if she pleased Eden, but instead wanted the approval of the other three members. Thus, why she's angry at Yves letting her go, and why (according to the lore and other fansites) her and ViVi are "enemies." Yves chose ViVi, a girl who had no real ties to her, over Olivia a girl who spent so much time with her while they both were still in Eden's good graces. My guess is Eden sends Olivia to find Yves, Chuu, and GoWon and bring them back. But as she awakens in the setting of Egoist it dawns on her that she doesn't need to please Eden anymore, because now she is free. Egoist talks about loving yourself and loving who you are, i think this meaning goes deeper. I think Olivia realized that she is beautiful and important on her own, and she doesn't need approval from anyone. So, while she sings and dances on the rooftop, thats kind of a her showing Eden, and the world that i don't need to abide by rules, and I'm great by myself. And, yes Olivia is gonna find the other girls but she is gonna do more sinister things when she does find them, thus maybe why her eyes are red in that one scene in Egoist. With that being said the common saying "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, " also ties in, in a new way. Olivia got sent by the great Eden to do her work, but now is going to do her own dark vengeful will. I also think that she is about to set off on her journey to find the girls, but HeeJin appears. HeeJin stops Olivia from doing eternal wrong, and within those few seconds of eye contact HeeJin (both emotionally and telepathically) gives Olivia the acceptance she wanted and forsoke. I don't if any of this makes sense, but i just wanted to share my opinion.

Serg, I'm with you, I really wish Yeojin was in the mv. Many fans theorized that she would. But the music video was entirely filmed in Hungary and only yyxy members travelled there. The girl walking barefoot is Yves, the first time she sneaks out.

Really enjoyed binge watching you guys Loona reactions. Was super fun watching Serg become a die hard Loona fan over the course of these videos. I do have to say it did erk me a little what you had to say about the OEC girls on first watch, as they blew me away from the start. I think you guys just needed some better speakers or something.

This song is a parody/satirical piece on korean girl groups. Bbc got snsd's producer to make a gee-like song, got grimes to do the tiffany "let's go!" intro, and got them trapped in a castle where every movement is controlled. It somehow captures the tensions inside a girl group production, of being stuck in between the certain and uncertain in particular; of a rosy world outside if you bite into the temptation, vs the promise of success if you remain clueless inside. Another thing: the song is actually about their love for Eve/Yves. The names Adam and Eve originate from the latin names "Adan" and "Eva". So if you check the lyrics and switch love4eva to love for eve/yves, then the music video will make more sense. They all are intrigued by what keeps their classmate yves happy even when she's being reprimanded. Yves, who offers an alternative to the school life, opens up the girls' perspective of the world, which gains her a following due to her radical views against school. But olivia stays, and gets outcasted by the group. This is a common occurence to friendships in a high school setting. So i guess this is the kind of love they wanted to show for yyxy.

I think the school represents Eden. Them running into the forest and eating roses represents them eating their fruit and bouncing on dat ass. Poor Olivia lol. I just wanna know why? Why not include her? Why that shade and death stares towards her?
