I've met John Dunsworth and Patrick Roach (Lahey and Randy) on a comedy tour they did going through small local pubs across Canada. Very cool people. John doesn't actually drink alcohol at all, apparently he used to be an alcoholic. Really shines a light on how amazing his acting is.

I've always loved the show since I was a little kid. I was born around the time it started so you can imagine around my 10yr old stage, I started watching the show. I've watched the show over and over again and recently watched it all the way through again. My girlfriend is now in love with the show after never seeing it before. I believe that the actors of TPB are very humble, loving, and amazing people and I can't wait to see them continue to live their best lives. Some really amazing people and now at the age of 19, I hope I get to meet them one day and smoke a blunt with them.

You reminded me how TPBs was run repeatedly on air all the time. I had a tape I used to carry around to parties trying to get people to watch it. They thought it was a dirty movie I was trying to play and wouldn’t watch it until breakfast the next day. When my uncle was dying in the hospital we watched TPBs in the public lounge and it helped with comic relief during that hard time. Thanks for posting!

They are not playing the same characters though in 98's One Last Shot. They play Gary Williams (GW) and Robb and GW is a University student. Only Jim Lahey has the same name. The first time we see the characters is in the 1999 movie Trailer Park Boys that they later used as a shopping around pilot to the Cable Networks (it never aired as the pilot).

Well I think I can say that in response to the end of this video "until the fans say it's time to shut it down", I think that it's time to shut it down. Not that I am sick of it, or that it's not funny anymore or anything like that. But without Lahey, it's not TPB. That's why I never really enjoyed some of the live stuff they did that's on netflix now, where Lahey and Randy are barely there, and especially those "out of the park" shows, where there is no Lahey or Randy at all. It's just not right without Lahey and Randy to throw spanners in the works for the boys. And Dunsworth (RIP, hugely missed) was the absolute best comedy drunk in the history of television/movies.

I live in Nova Scotia and I've been to some of the filming locations where they've had their trailer park sets before. I've seen rob wells(Ricky) at our local rink before for his daughters skating lessons. His Porsche was in the parking lot. I've also come across rob at one of the provincial park campgrounds here camping with his family. Some of my friends have bumped into him and Ray at the grocery stores before.

With the unfortunate timing of John Dunsworth passing, I think season 12 will be their last. It just won't be the same without Jim Lahey there. Hoping Mike Clattenburg directs the last episode as a tribute to him and put the show to a proper rest. All good things come to an end. But the memories and recordings will remain.

Because Season 12 kinda ended on a cliffhanger, I feel like they should do a special which concludes with the boys *FINALLY* retiring and having officially achieved Freedom 35.
