Loose Fuel Cap Warning? | Tech Minute

Loose fuel cap scroll came on this morning. Forgot to put cap on for 2 or 3 miles last night. Stopped when I saw it. Warning popped up this morning. Tightened cap. When will warning go off? Will it turn off automatically? I have not driven far today.

I turn the nozzle,hear a click but message still shows up on dashboard. How long should I wait for the message to leave the dashboard?

A gas attendant put the cap on with the leash in the way basically not a complete seal. I fix that issue ,but how do I reset the loose fuel cap warning on the instrument panel?

Wonderful nissan micra , loose fuel cap warning flashes and the milage indicator goes away . I'd never buy another nissan of any kind . This one has been a piece of dog schiff from day one .designed and built in tennessee. Guess it never snows there . Back up in snow deeper than about three inches and the front air dam acts as a snow plow and will rip right off .cheap plastic crap.

my car had 4000 in parts still have probem seams when and only when gas levle is 1/2 tank and sets over night light comes on now put 3 gal gas in it light gose out, now this nothing do with gas cap but testing system it self and weather use a vacum pump to do this, , there are 3 sencors that dose motor this so any one of them be bad, also car leaking current leading to battery being drain is two related if sencor is sortted out maybe other why no , now only one other thing cuass this is bad computer, throw i more bending towd one 3 sencorts being bad and most likelt are now battery drain can be easy or hard fix depening how much current being pulled and if it being trigger from off line check by way was dumest thing one think of doing, batterys put these cars ment start them not to run test , my dodge chager ran test but battery in it was huge , at 125 ibs, and 250 amp ault and there probem right there this suv wait 6000 ibs and has 150 amp ault in it far more elec and worst ault wont charge battery if it at idel if it less 1500 rpms, and must be driven more 8 miles now i got document showing that they change smart charger to mode 4 i got no clue what that meens, all throw if it wont charge at 600 rpms some point battery will fail now two ways stop this have dealer ship change chargieng levems in computer or disconect 3 wires going to neg termanal forces ault say on
