Your art and words are fruitful and inspiring. I am recovering from a severe brain injury and watch your videos to give me ideas on how to paint florals. Then I make cards and send them to others who need a little lift. It heals my brain and hopefully is a blessing to others. Your honesty is like a salve....keep going .... baby steps! From the bottom of my heart I say thank you for having the courage to do your KZbin. I have struggled with depression for nearly two decades now, I have a wonderful family and am thankful I am still here. Crafting is my go to place for respite from the world around me. The fact that you are doing your channel is a positive thing and knowing you are making many people happy doing it should bring a sprinkle of joy to you. Every day is a day beyond the last...there is great wisdom in the saying..smile and the world smiles too. Xx

Cazzie, I echo your sentiment here as I too have struggled with depression for most of my life. And my studio is my safe haven. Some of my best works have come from unexpected days of sadness which helps me bounce right back. I can look back and say"Wow, that day turned into this work of art which found me in line at the Bank". Our biggest blessing is having amazing family around us. Keep crafting my friend. And yes, keep smiling. Donna, in California.

@@cazzied5714 Recently I've learned a little more about Emma. Maybe she does struggle with depression a bit. I became depressed after I got sick. I'm so sick of being sick. Sickness causes stress. But I just don't like talking about it. So at times I make light of it. Maybe I shouldn't. ~~~ I think, like many of Emma's followers, that she is good person, strong and very talented. I'm thankful for the videos she shares with us. Also I'd just like to say thankyou to you for your comment. Blessings 💖

You have an amazing talent I have learned so much from you.. I have dealt with anxiety and depression for many years so I know how debilitating it can be, I pray that you will start to feel better, know that you aren't alone in this struggle. You are the first artist I started watching when I was gong through chemo and told to get a hobby, you helped me so much I hope my prayers will help you.

I like the addition of the lines. They give the petals dimension while still keeping the look loose. Before the flowers looked like flat blobs of color. Love your work, you are a great artist. Thank you for making such wonderful and informative videos.

Beautiful! Loose florals are often underestimated , they require more skill than I think others may assume. I usually tend to paint land scapes and botanicals, but when I'm in the mood to watch paint move and benefit from the therapeutic quality of color, this is where I go! And BTW, I know what you mean about not feeling so great. I'm so happy and grateful that you were able to get a video out. Your videos bring me and many others happiness. I just wanted to say that.

First of all, love the finished watercolor. The lines were the perfect touches. Second, love the fact you have lace wrapped around your water jar. It adds your personality to it. Like I use a 1950’s green ashtray to rest my brushes on while painting. The ashtray is deep enough to hold water on each side of the brush (cigarette) holders. May try that instead of using small canning jars. Thanks Emma for a great teaching video. . . Yes it was. 💖☃️💖. P.S. I’m in the process of working with my Foster Golden Retriever to not bark at every person and/or animal that walks by the picture window of my house. 🦮♥️
