I spent ages painting these the day before getting so many wrong before these. It’s all about painting lots of them and the practise will teach you something new each time

Thanks Susan, well I practise a lot! The day before filming I painted so many butterflies! But my main approach with all of these butterflies is building up the wing with a number of strokes allows you to even up the shape either side

Oh Kristin every time! I had that even this morning but I've just finished a long day of painting and I feel great. and the last thing I painted was the best thing I've painted in a long while.
