They got this wrong - Tom Parker died in 2022, NOT 2020. Kelsey was dating a new guy by October 2022, so less than 6 months after his "soulmate" died.

@@carolcarlsonives I agree it's selfish but I think it anyway. 7 weeks is no time at all to grieve a soulmate, I think it's reasonable to question that. It is a bit weird to have a new partner after 7 weeks if you look at it without emotion like you.

We all expected Kelsey to move on at some point, but 7 weeks after Tom died? Nah. At least allow his children to grieve properly first. They had just lost Daddy and then had to get used to another man being around - Kelsey confirms all of this in her book by the way, none of what I'm saying is assumptions. It's Tom's children and family I feel sorry for, especially as they had to find out via tabloids that she had met someone else.

Just heartbreaking, to leave this world at 33, when life is just really beginning, just moves me to tears. I cannot imagine how she has dealt with this and how Tom's family have coped. As a mum of similarly aged children, it just breaks my heart to think of what theyve all been through. Bless them all, and may Kelsey find happiness and peace.

As someone who lost her brother when he was a young 35yr old with two small children under 7. I have to look at our situation and this brings back lots of hurt to me as a family and my mum and dad I could write a book. My brothers wife rebounded within months this floored my family. We never wanted her to be on her own for years but we didn’t expect this within months. What a choice she has made I’m sure Tom would worry for his children.

I think, in her position, when Tom was first diagnosed, she probably started grieving even then, even though they were hopeful that he would survive. You can't be a 100% sure that someone diagnosed with a brain tumour will be able to be treated successfully, so probably you do start anticipating the loss of them. Some people, me included, have anticipatory grief about the loss of loved ones, the loss of pets, the loss of one's health, so the grief process can start really very early for some, not all. Plus I don't think you ever really stop grieving loved ones youve lost. As people say, you learn to live with the grief, and I think thats what Kelsey is doing, while trying to make a new life for herself.

Very rude and uncalled for. My sister in law was married to my brother for 14 years before he passed away from health complications of having kidney failure. She loved him dearly and was his full time carer and the mother of his three kids. But about a year after he passed away, we encouraged her to find love again (which she has now done) because of the sheer intense loneliness she was experiencing. Not to mention being a single parent. She deserved companionship and support, and so does Kelsey So please do show a little empathy to her and do not call her vile.
