The chances of life elsewhere are astronomically slim despite the amount of galaxies. There are far, far more planets without life..indeed we are the only one we know. Plus the millions of arbitrary and random steps that had to happen to proliferate life contain so many variables it's be statistically unlikely the process could be repeated in the same way. Maybe it depends on what we consider 'life' to be. We can imbue 'life' into anything, really. We used to believe rocks and mountains were alive in a sense. Maybe we are just one form of life, based on the biology, chemistry and physics that pertain to our particular environment, and different scientific laws create different forms of life elsewhere. What's almost certain is that aliens would not be humanoid, which is what i find egotistical...the notion our form and shape would be replicated elsewhere. Why do these 'aliens' always land conveniently in America? The man is a charlatan, like most of his peers in that country. Taking him seriously is baffling. The question is what are we being distracted from with this attention being averted to rubbish?
