I tried this once on a refinery mission, lots of loot bugs as always on those for some reason, but I eventually was just vibing with like between 15-20 lootbugs. Then they all committed suicide conga into electric crystals as I watched......

We killed it so I could not suffer to wiggle on the rough ground all day in a pain, only to eat mineral that aren't nutritious in their dumb instinct. You should thank us because if they eat people they will survive longer and start teaching that to their kids and actually become a dominating species (they survive to swarm like it's nothing so by being a predator it's even more powerfull)

The beast doesn’t needlessly suffer and it’s very humane, well, dwarvane… You may even pet the lootbug before giving it the deadly blow, kinda like what we do with lobsters ! I love lootbugs, but i understand that sometimes sacrifices must be made to ensure the completion of the mission... The only thing i would wish for, since i play on the xbox, is for there to be a small chance of like, a dreadnaught-sized, hostile lootbug boss to spawn every time a player kills a lootbug...because at least if there was, I wouldn’t have to waste my C4 on teammates who needlessly slaughter lootbugs just for fun >:c
