Great info! For less experienced player: it is fine to drop off scrolls of wisdoms somewhat early in maps because you exchange transmutations, blacksmith's whetstones and armor scraps at a higher rate to wisdoms at a vendor and then if you need you can purchase portals for wisdoms at a vendor. If you can fit in a Portal gem then you don't need portal scrolls anymore. Even if you go even stricter you can purchase scrolls from other players, however, usually at that time you won't be picking up many rares anyway.

Why does this have so few views? This was one of the best videos I have seen on this topic. Now If I could just figure out how to do the sound files. I have a whole load of filters now that's broken due to not having soundfiles. Especially the kind from TyTyKiller and files that tell you what color dropped. The early game filters have been so bad and not kept up to date that I finally had to make my own. I'm tired of missing out of flask and other things I need because the filter is not showing them.

My tip for anybody wondering how to do their item filter would be to always make it a bit more strict than you think you want it to be 😹 Also, customise the look of scrolls so you can find and pick one up on the fly if you need to

Also, the folder button next to the refresh button inside of the game options will open the correct folder for your filters so you don't need to find it manually :D

neversink did a great job with filterblade, figuring out how to customize the filters was easy enough. my problem is that I have no clue what is worth picking up /hiding untill I run the pricing macro on it. I guess the only solution is play more, gain more knowledge :/

I think it's not so much a matter of I don't know how to set up my filter, it's more about I don't know what should I consider a crap rare and what is not, the game knowledge is missing on to what I should hide at what point.

Filterblade is WAY to complicated... like seriously to complicated, i can't make heads or tails of it O_o POEWizard looked good, then i noticed it had not been updated in forever... that UI was SIMPLE! straight forward. Filterblade is just insanely cluttered, unclear and does not flow well.
