I want to ask you guys a favor. When Ragnarok finally comes out... I'd like you to build a monument to Thick. Either at his cave base, or somewhere near the Wyvern scar. I have some ideas. Maybe Anthony could create a character to look like Thick's, and then someone could kill him and use the taxidermy tools to create a thick statue. Or you could use the modding tools to make a buildable statue. Maybe Thick riding on the back of Cooter, since Ragnarok would be the most appropriate place for both of them.

Neebs was close, but not quite there with the alcohol thing. Your body does naturally restrict blood flow to your extremities to save warmth/energy. Alcohol makes you feel warmer because it lessens that restricted blood flow. Your veins get wider, allowing more blood to flow through. That's the issue though. You feel warmer initially, but due to the increased blood flow you lose much more heat in the process. It's super dangerous in the end. You think you're warmer but in fact you're freezing to death much quicker. Never drink alcohol to warm yourself in critical situations.

It almost made me think that he was acting stupid intentionally cause there is no way that he doesn't know how the hud works after playing this game for 8 years. Hey guys have Simon go into settings and turn off light bloom. (or do it for him) He will like the look more and so will the rest of us. Appsro, spyglass works fine and shows the names and level so long as you hit backspace and turn your Hud back on when using it.

FYI when you take things from beaver dams, drop everything else out. Easiest thing is to hold O while scrolling your cursor over everything. Otherwise, the dam won't respawn and the next time you loot it, no cementing paste.

Hey neebs you can use the Bob's structure skin on the walls of your boat turn some into windows and you can see through them in first person. Also if you want the old raft back (the one stuck in the floating ice and I don't think it's cheating) you can ghost it out. Just get into driving the raft then open console command type ghost drive it out, then console command again type in walk all done. You can use in the future if the raft gets stuck again.

certain things like alcohol if they make you feel warmer, it might be because its sending the blood to your extremities, skin fingers, etc.. so its actually making you more likely to die in a cold environment... but it depends how cold it is.. if u have plenty of food and clothing so your inner body is warm and you can create energy from the food, it might be a good idea to take something that spreads blood flow to the extremities.. you will lose more heat, and use up more energy but it will stop you getting frost bite and allow you to work without numb hands etc.. however in extreme circumstances where its so cold u might die, its best not to take anything that sends blood out of your core
