​@Normania-is-here Well, the new Once-ler is not my favorite because of the reason that his motivations aren't exactly pushed by greed, but more or less as an attempt to impress his mom. Meanwhile, the old one was purely motivated by greed, and the more he grew in popularity, the more greedy he got. Basically, the new one is portrayed to be a character with a tragic back story, while the old is an evil person motivated by greed who lost it all in the end. That's kinda what made him stand out more to me. Because we never see their face, we don't know if they are man or woman, or human at all, same with the workers and family. It's a representation that anyone can be the Once-ler, and helps push out the message its trying to spread about greed, pollution, and conserving nature for the future.

In 1922 Humans moved to the lorax forest to cut down trees but in 1923 one of the animals shot dead a human this would cause the Lorax civil war a month later with the humans started a revolution against the Lorax and his men this is considered the very start of the civil war days later both lorax and humans would dig trenches and arm themselves with guns the first battle was on the 14th of july 1923 The humans charged towards The Lorax army in there trenches in response Lorax and his men opened fire the sound of machine guns echoed around the forest many lives where lost at 2:34PM the battle ended and the humans took corpses from the battlefield and took them back to there trenches eating them both human and animal the next the second bloodiest battle of the war would happen while during the battle the humans used mustard gas against the army nearly killing the entire army expect for 230 Men and 200 Children 100 Women totaling a 530 men left out of the 20,000 of lorax army the jumped over for the trenches then most of the army was gunned down the remaining fought for hours the battle ended at 6:00PM exactly (Side note this is taking a very long to write but i will soon come back and finish this)

General Herchel Oncler is hanged on November 1, 17 days before the forces of the lorax win the battle of the Ohair Air. As OHair morale crumbled, The lorax’s forces pushed on, taking the entire land they were fighting over, The capital of Gerhair. The lorax and his men went on to win the war and restore peace to the world. Until a certain someone came to power in 1933.
