This benzo is different from the others (like valium, xanax etc.)..it gives you a pleasant sensation of calm and sleepiness..great for anxiety in particular if you have problems like insomnia..

@@superswagnootropics 1 MG. Never has failed. I use it very rarely. At the worst, maybe once per month. Typical is maybe 1 time per 4-6 months. I have found alot of relief from night time panic using Cannabis oil. I use a balanced THC and CBD about an hour before bed... and have slept better and without major panic.

it helps me with my 24/7 anxiety. been dealing with it since October 7th 2021. got worse in November after someone broke in. kept having attacks and delusions. got really bad. luckily Ativan helps with my ptsd and anxiety. I take 3 or 4 lorazepam tabs a day, 1mg, really helps with the anxiety I have dealing with the fact that I'll be dying from the incurable cancer that I have in the next few years. Also take per day: citalapram 40mg, tramadol 200mg, zopiclone 15mg. I dont do any councelling because all that does is piss me off. Also have: emotionally unstable personality disorder F60.3 & recurrent depressive disorder unspecified F33.9. I also have a few other mental issues/ disorders as well but feel happier about living with those things privately & hide them away from the doctors & psychiatrists! Great video, thanks!

I take Lorazapam to help with excruciating muscle spasms in my toes. I can actually see the muscles contract and my toes gather together. The drug works very well as a muscle relaxant and doesn't seem to make me sleepy or affect my mood.

Great drug, but the full effect (peak plasma) usually doesn't kick in until 1.5 to 2 hours after ingesting. I use it mainly for insomnia (.5 - 1 mg); it works great for slowing your mind down and getting rid of that mental chatter/anxiety that prevents so many people from falling asleep. That being said, I have noticed that it does affect the quality of my sleep at times, specifically the deep restorative sleep phases - I'm very athletic and have noticed a fatigued and sluggish effect on my muscles after a night of Lorazepam.

Lorazepam is an excellent medication that had many uses. From epilepsy to CINV (Chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting). For me, I've found it helps with sleep, anxiety and pain that I experience that's related to neuropathic pain due to a car accident in 2012. Thanks for another excellent video Garrett 👍👍

Did you know that most inpatient addiction treatment centres will not accept clients that are detoxing from benzos? The reason being that the detox is so unpredictable and long. You wonder why you see so many shooting, car accidents, damaged brain, suicide, loss of memory, etc. Guns licence should never be given to people that use these prescriptions to drug people. Did you see one case where a doctor was with 2 patients, and the doctor could not even write in front of the patients during the appointment. And I was wondering, this doctor is intoxicated with Ambien(for sleeping) or something else. Ambiem makes people walking and doing crazy things while sleeping. Terrifying. And doctors prescribe this bomb without even telling the patient the bomb side effects. Many doctors are criminal if they do that.

@@supermelodia Benzodiazepines are very useful and effective substances that aren't toxic. But doctors treat them like candy and prescribe them even when there's no need for it. They're sadly used incorrectly and many dangers are ignored. The dangers of benzodiazepines and many other drugs are fairly underrated. I hope this will change.

been on lorazepam for 5 years. only the lowest dose and only taken as needed. I never felt like I needed or wanted to take more than what was prescribed. I have not become dependent on it. it’s the only pill that has helped me deal with anxiety/panic attacks and even my PTSD. Did try hydroxyzine, didn’t do nothing but knocked me out for hours. I hear it’s getting harder to get drs to give out benzodiazepines out, which I understand why. However, ativan will always be my lifesaver!

Not if you take them as prescribed. I am on .5 2 times a day, I only take half when needed so I am not taking it every day but it will take the edge off. If you take 1mg before bed you're lights out best sleep you will have however you won't dream really or you sleep so deeply you don't remember them, in a non dangerous way. Every body is different though.

@Garstikus I eventually got 2mg Ativan in the ER for panic attacks and a 5150 and it did put me to sleep. I didn’t feel high as I just felt normal being so sedated from panic, but I probably couldn’t drive. I can’t find a doctor to prescribe Ativan, they all keep saying look somewhere else

@@Brainjoy01 Its good that they dont want to prescribe it long term. It is good short term and occasionally for panic attacks but you shouldnt take it long term as you quickly build tolerance and get dependant. you should try and SSRI and Therapy

Been taking half a pill for 8mns. Last 4 days just tak8ng 2 benadryl at night to sleep. Sleeping fine .we'll today was anxious off the charts. Now I think it's because I've not taken ativan. So took half a pill and one benadryl they are kicking in nicely. Thank God never been to anxious could not sit still.

Ativan is the only benzo that works for me. Xanax / Klonopin doesn’t do it for me. I feel very spacey, and I can not do everyday activities normally. I have chronic generalized anxiety disorder & xanax almost seems to make my anxiety worse, fast heartbeat, and not sleeping as well. I remember my day on Ativan- Xanax, I normally do not when I look back on it. I simply feel normal on Ativan, and feel no loopy feeling. I always wonder why Ativan is so much more effective. Xanax is not the same, and I feel like I suffer from some sort of withdrawal when I was switched from Ativan to Xanax, I’ve never found a reason for this, or anyone talk about it. I was on 1mg Ativan and could take it up to 2x daily for about a year and never suffered a panic attack during that time, it changed my life. Really wondering why I feel such a withdrawal feeling from the switch from Ativan to Xanax (1mg up to 2x daily)

I'm the same way. Only Ativan works for me. Because we have true anxiety, not these people who have situational anxiety and want Xanax to get high
