My one and only love I've been lonely long enough Will I find you when the night is over? Tell me where did you go? I've been searching high and low I have only 'til the night is over In every window, I pass Your reflection in the glass Makes me wonder if my mind is going Shadows shifting in the rain Slowly driving me insane By the stars above, I know we were in love I have only ’til the night is over I feel the weather change I hear the river say your name I watch the birds fly by I see an emerald in the sky Now how the trail has gone cold I don’t know where else to go And my time, I fear, is nearly over When the ocean drinks the sky And the city winks its eye When the night is done, you’ll vanish in the sun Will I hold you when the night is over? Am I lost inside my mind? There’s an emerald in the sky I hear the river say your name By the stars above, I know we were in love I hear the river say your name I have only ’til the night is over

I was browsing a bookstore when this song came on...it immediately took hold of me and I couldn't get out out of my mind. I walked through the store longer than planned, just to listen to the whole song. I only knew of one other song of yours, so I didn't recognize this one as a Lord Huron song. Left the store and immediately Google searched for it... only to find it was Lord Huron. Of course! The 2nd song I've heard and now I'm officially a fan. Going through all your songs now. Amazing talent. Your music speaks to my soul.

You had me at bookstore! I don't one what you've listened to already, but some personal faves are yawning grave, night we met, love like ghosts, meet me in the woods, way out there, and until the night is over. 😊

It was a week ago exactly. Long hot day that took forever to come. I dreaded the day and knew it would be hard. I sat there with 4 songs playing repeatedly and this was one of them which before then I have never heard of before. This is a surprisingly beautiful song when you really think about it. I saw my dad for the last time. Love ya Dad.

Driving to Michigan from KY during Covid lockdown because my mother / my best friend had to have emergency surgery that I wasn't sure she'd survive and my Amazon Tool/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer playlist played this! I've been playing Lord Huron during the drive BACK to Kentucky for MY post-op appointment and back to Michigan to help my mom when she gets out of the hospital! She's doing great! THIS music got me out of my head and away from the monkey mind and into my heart! SO healing and incredibly gorgeous! Thanks Uni-verse!

This is my absolute favorite song. I discovered it 2 1/2 years ago when I met the loml. We were long distance and would travel 2 hours back and forth before we moved in together in January 2021. I listened to this song the whole way driving home after the first night we stayed together and made it official and sobbed because I had never fell in love with anyone before and it felt like torture driving home. I’ve never loved anyone more and now we have been together 2 1/2 years, happily, and just bought our first home together. I want this played at our wedding someday. It’s the most gorgeous song to me.🥺❤️

One of my best friends passed away six days ago. The music from this band has gotten me through fits of crying, moments of sorrow, and the fear of my inevitable reunion I will have with the black void.

無意間聽到 The night we met然後每天一直播放3個小時版的,就連續聽了好幾個星期,我的鄰居應該很崩潰。這首歌編曲的很有七零年代早期的風格,很讚啊。

this song deserves a lyric comment My one and only love I've been lonely long enough Will I find you when the night is over? Tell me where did you go? I've been searching high and low I have only 'til the night is over In every window, I pass Your reflection in the glass Makes me wonder if my mind is going Shadows shifting in the rain Slowly driving me insane By the stars above, I know we were in love I have only 'til the night is over I feel the weather change I hear the river say your name I watch the birds fly by I see an emerald in the sky Now how the trail has gone cold I don't know where else to go And my time, I fear, is nearly over When the ocean drinks the sky And the city winks its eye When the night is done, you'll vanish in the sun Will I hold you when the night is over? Am I lost inside my mind? There's an emerald in the sky I hear the river say your name By the stars above, I know we were in love I hear the river say your name I have only 'til the night is over

I am completely obsessed with this song! It brings out so many emotions that I didn't know I had and I don't know why. It also sounds so familiar, like I've always known it, but I just found it last week. So weird, but awesome!

For the past two years, when I've been driving back from Mardi Gras and hit Horse Cave, KY this song had come on my playlist totally random. Is about 5 miles from where my first love lives. Weird, mystical, beautiful.
