Busy Bee wasn't even there when Kool Moe Dee was rapping on that tape that is still floating around on KZbin. Moe Dee attached his lyrics to the mixtape that Busy Bee had already rapped on, and edited to his fancy. That's a real Hip-Hop Story that you had to have been there to know all that with the real story.

@@SyeYoung If I’m wrong about this I’ll come back and admit it but if I remember correctly, KMD specifically said that he was actually the host of that party and he specifically told such n such to put his name on the battle list right after Busy. Busy elsewhere said he was downstairs while Kool was upstairs eating his food.

Lord Jamar! Thank You for having The Chief Rocker BusyBee on The God Cast. I had the pleasure of driving This Legend to his interview with DJ Cash @ WUFO 96.5 here in Buffalo, New York. His Manager Sherry is a good friend and Buffalo State College/University Grad. This Man and his DJ (I believe Kevie Kev) blessed Buffalo on a Saturday Night in May of 2024. Thank You for presenting this King's Knowledge to the World with this interview!!

During the southern migration most of North Carolina people went to New York and they took what we was doing across the south to New York. A lot of People from Alabama went to Harlem during that time. I learned that on the Stax Records Documentary! Alabama brought a lot of music up there also! It was a man they called the Godfather of the Blues that was from Alabama and he actually took blues worldwide and taught music to the people in New York. It's a statue of him in Memphis,Tennessee.

There was definitely Hip-Hop before Disco King Mario bonded with Bambaataa. King Mario was doing that thing before he bonded with Bam. Let's not forget that Brooklyn and Queens had had their things going on as well, and they weren't waiting for Bambaataa to hook up with Mario, and Mario being very underrated because when he passed away many of the Bronx Hip-Hop free agents were trying to erase what went on beforehand. Grandmaster Flowers was the Original Grandmaster in Brooklyn as a Dee-Jay, Rapper, Graffiti Artist (buildings and subway trains). Don't take my word, get your research on. My first cousins and I went back and forth from The Bronx where they live to Brooklyn where I lived. I remember Busy Bee from The O'Jay Club across the street from Club 371 on E. 166th between Clay & Teller Avenues. I hung out with The Chief Rocker in Mount Morris Park (before NYC changed the name to Marcus Garvey Park).

Peace Lord Jamar ! You hit a HOME RUN with this Show and Episode! You did an Excellent job as Interviewer who Allows the Guys ( Artist ) to TALK ! You’re an Outstanding CURATOR of The Culture and 1 of the DOPEST Members of the Legendary Brand Nubians Iconic Hip Hop Group… and “ Here is A Lil Story That Must Be TOLD “ !! The Story Must Be Documented Authentically & In its TOTALITY … if NoT .. those OtHerS will make a trUE LIe about what went Down. The Culture as folks who were there will remind you that there a Gang Element that was Very Prominent Which wouldn’t allow Just Any joker to Wander or Meander into the Neighborhood to be down .. you made a great point in stating that Hip Hop has had 100 Dances since break dancing came about ..Hip Hop had Blaq Young Women who were Very Prominent ( Sha Rock ) Angie Stone and others .. Those other folks would have the Same number of Representation IF they were there 50% .. smh. The Corporations came with a divide and conquer plan to make the Most profit from the Culture and inject thievery & control. The ( T3 ) were actually DOPE as you Mentioned. Mo’ D actually came Back hella Hard with his Album which had the Jam “ Go see the Doctor) And didn’t he Diss LL’s azz real crazy “ I’ll take those L’s and Rock your Bells “ ! .. Mo’ D was Nice .. Lastly Busy B is Still Dope, Still got that Voice , Still can get The Crowd to “ Wind Me Up “ !! Bro Still working and I can’t wait to see him Liive. Eh’ Man when dead Prez Coming Back Bro stop Playing wit Me Man !!! Great Show Cuz. !!

Busy Bee is slightly embellishing. The Busy Bee/Kool Moe Dee thing happened at Harlem World and it was the 1981 Christmas Rappers Convention. Busy Bee did perform but he left the club before Moe Dee got on stage. The whole audio of the event is out there so I don't know why he is falsely claiming to not have been there unless he misspoke. Also Moe Dee had several albums as a solo artist and classics with the Treacherous Three

Re: Federal Immunity : Lord Jamar, Respectfully, it seems you’re mistaken. What you’ve describe is called, “Qualified Immunity,” which protects officers (and other employees’) personal assets, so they’re not liable for civil suits. while on the job. “Federal Immunity,” appears to extend police officers an immunity that will apply when they violate the constitution, that they may be excused of penalty. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it doesn’t seem like the people are being lied to about this one.
