One fascinating thing about Sri Skanda Bhagwan that is rarely ever touched upon (such is the design of the Guhya SenaPati 😅), to the point where it might even be up for debate - the region of Scandinavia seems to have some relation to him, I don't exactly know how, but I do remember reading on some obscure blog in the depths of wordpress sites, that the region was called Skanda-Nabhi kshetra, and some parts of the Skanda Mahapuraan were actually composed there. Honestly it does make sense how the Icelandic language is so similar to Sanskrit in terms of grammar, syntax, phonetics and even some vocabulary (I mention Icelandic in particular because it is the closest modern day analogue to old norse), not just that but certain words in Swedish and Norwegian itself, e.g. their word for "relationship" is "Samband", their word for "No" is "Nej", pronunciation very close to the Hindi "Nahi" and a few more. Now of course, if one were to go DEEP into the proto indo-european and proto indo-iranian languages, in terms of etymology, grammar, subject-object agreements and syntax, they would definitely uncover a lot of these secrets, I'm not knowledgeable enough about it though. This just feels do right beyond words. In north where I have been living for quite some time there is no trace of kartikye worship whereas Kartikye worship was on peak perhaps during the mughal period. It is in Odisha from where I belong Lord Kartikya is worshipped in a somewhata better state and in several household majorly during the Kumara Purnami. Just a few days ago I remember I while watching a vedio on the Meenakshi Kalyanam I got to know about the beautiful Dhyana murti of Soma Skanda. My father who is quite an honest man of his principles while his trip to malaysia, brought a beautiful golden colored murti of Murugan baba which in my opinion very much protects the house and brings a positive vibe into the house. I even remember hearing that murugan is the best deity which a man of principles must pray for sincerity and for upholding dharma forever in his life since he is also a dharma rakshaka. this all just makes so much sense!

I guess i am not suited for chand bhairav sadhna, but i remember ever since i have heard of the incident of lord ganesha winning the race by doing parikrima of lord shiva and parvathi always seems unfair to me. Buddhi makes you win everything in mrityu loka but sense of rightiousness makes you fearless even if you loose. The rage of kartike maharaj on them is pure and that is why mahadev and maa parvathi have blessed kartike maharaj with tremendous shakti.
