My god this takes me back to being 5 years old. It really defined my taste in classical music and instruments. Even though i grew up as a metalhead. There was something about violins that always interested me. Just the smooth sound that comes from them.

This is exactly how I felt after watching this. I used to watch this religiously right around that age and am also a metalhead. Something about this just connects with my inner child 🖤 so beautiful.

Dies ist kein Duell, es ist ein Duett. Sie spielen beide gleichermaßen fantastisch... absolut synchron und perfekt im Duett.

Mairead Nesbitt always added a whole lot of special energy to the Celtic Woman concerts later in her career. No other fiddle player could even come close to her dance routine while playing, and all without missing a single note!

It should be criminal to play that good

Totally agree. Celtic Woman during the era of Nesbitt, Agnew and Lambe was amazing.

I remember watching LoTD;- with my Mum about the Age-of 10;- and then;- on-and-off with my Foster Carer's. Some of the good Memories I have! I love it when they break into the second part;- in: "Harmonic Battle";- (You could say!).

I watched this so many times as a kid. I watched it again, the whole thing, like 3 weeks ago. I remember seeing these ladies come on and thinking "Ah, I don't remember being that interested in these two as a kid". Holy hell, I think they're the best part!

They are the greatest violin players of Celtic music. Michael is brilliant to have them play in his Lord of the Dance. I saw them Ireland during their finale - the Irish in me just couldn't keep my feet from dancing along with the music too.

2:25: This became an obsession of mine to play on the guitar as a pre-teen after it was used in a Norwegian advertisement. My father asked me what it was, so I told him that I thought it was some Irish riverdance, and he asked if I thought he was stupid. He wanted to know the name and I didn't know. I still don't. Thirty years later, please help. :)
