What is also awesome about this band is that they play songs with classical instruments also, Chris is an accomplished cello player. Their previous album Swan Songs III is done that way. Listening tips: Splintered Mind, Dying on the moon, When we were young.

Awesome LotL doesn't get enough attention. I think a lot of people her gothic metal and just kind of skip over them. They are all great musicians and Chris is a great frontman with charisma to spare. I first heard Chris on Mono Inc.'s "Children of the Dark" I immediately had to check out Chris, Joachim, & Tilo's other work. The first LotL song I listened to was "The Broken Ones". They had me with the opening line "Arise my friend were nearly late. Still drunk as lords at ten past eight."

Good morning/afternoon/whatevertimeitis! I am here to request a Babymetal reaction. There's this channel on youtube, Babymetal Reactor Resource that has videos that won't get taken down. As you are a vocal coach, I'm sure the differences between English and Japanese singers would be a great topic of discussion in the video. The main singer, Nakamoto Suzuka (23 years young, started the band at 14) has the clearest female voice to ever soar above metal music. I would suggest starting with "Karate" or Akatsuki or Rondo of Nightmare. Karate is a group song while Akatsuki/Rondo are solos (and are live on the BRR). Believe me, you will not regret making the video :).
