Lord of the Lost never sounds the same! You want a heavy one - check out "Ruins" 🤘 my personal alltime favourite is "Black Halo". You can't do wrong diving deeper in their music!

This band has a fantastic diversity in sound, and Chris Harms' range is prettty amazing and they do get pretty heavy at times. I definitely recommend checking out more, For They Know Not What They Do is a continuation of this and is pretty dynamic in sound. Also for new stuff a good one to check out is their song Blood and Glitter, which was their entry to Eurovision this year while they represented Germany.

Lord Of The Lost were Germany's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest this year and as a cello player Chris played on the year before's entry. They have some albums called Swan Songs where they play classical versions of some of their songs. When you think you have their style pinned down they come back with something different. For a start three songs that could not be more different from each other but would give an idea of their range would be Raining Stars, Ruins and A Splintered Mind. There are more songs with more styles but these would give some idea of how much their style can swing. They don't take themselves too seriously during Covid they did some fun lockdown versions of their songs from home with different instruments and guest musicians. They also have some fun Christmas song covers on their KZbin channel.

I totally second "A splintered Mind" (for the change of...everything) and "Raining stars" :-) "Morgana" 's chorus is also quite something

Thanx for following my suggestion and checking out Lord of the Lost! LotL have a huge range of style, tempo and mood. For something heavier I‘d suggest „Ruins“. And for a wild mix of everything one of my favorites: „Under the sun“.

I strongly recommend lord of the losts song for they know not what they do. Its heavier, continues the themes from priest, and is probably among my favourites by them. Other great heavier songs include Loreley and Haythor.

I can also recommend Viva Vendetta.

You pretty much have to follow this up with For They Know Not What They Do. The video for that and Priest tell a single cyclical story.

They tour all the time, since Judas they've released & toured another album & are going to release a new album soon! Chris is always full of ideas & their catelogue is very diverse! Judas is a double concept album the 1st disc being about damnation & the 2nd disc is about salvation based on the tale of Judas being a traitor I guess, but Chris has said he interprets the treachery as a sacrifice as far as I understand from interview given, he also says he's not religious but he enjoys the imagery and mythos around religion. Try Loreley, Under the Sun, The Curtain Falls....they also have an Ensamble made up of many of their crew & production crew who are also musicians & have recorded classical versions of their songs called "Swan Songs" . I'd love a performance of some Swan Songs one day! The live energy these guys have on stage is incredible!

Lord of the lost is extremely versatile in style and music, no album sounds the same. Lord of the lost is hands down one of my absolute favorite bands

Oh y'all should try Raining Stars... Chris and the Guys are wonderful in always morphing to something else. Gared Dirge you see playing rhythm is the keyboardist.

I think you are wrong. You need to react to local bands. People watch reaction channels to learn new music. No ones care that you listen to Eminem or Taylor Swift and so. Chris will be happy they are counted big band now I asked for "Lord of the Lost" in every reaction channel 3 years ago none stop before they start to be big and support "Iron Maiden"

Lord of the Lost have become my 2nd favourite band (after Nightwish). I love bands that sound different with every song/album, and who make the music that they like/want to, without worrying about what genre label to stick on themselves. Both LOTL and Nightwish do this wonderfully. LOTL get their fair share of hate, because they don't fit into a mould that other people have created - but they show how important it is to just be yourselves, and eventually the right, like minded people will find you, and become your lifelong fans. They've took 15 years of constant touring and hard work to get to where they're at now - and thats not even that huge or famous (outside Germany, I mean). A thing I imagine that you yourselves, being a "new" band can no doubt understand :) Chris Harms is also a producer, and works with so many other bands - recently he actually recorded vocals for a big bunch of unheard/unsigned bands - he just put a mesage online inviting bands who might want his vocals in one of their songs, and then he did; they've slowly been released over the past year or so. I highly recommend checking out more LOTL, there are so many different flavours of their songs, that you cannot judge them from just one song. I think you guys would like some of their earlier albums - Judas and Thornstar. There's also their 'classical' albums - Swan Songs. :)

Would absolutely love for you to check out more LOTL songs! Priest is not one of my favourites. I definitely recommend In Silence, Black Halo, Loreley, Argent, and The Heartbeat of the Devil. I'm not a fan of their latest album, Blood & Glitter, but the entire Judas album was incredible, even the songs I liked less.

That was just one album tho - judas in 2021. the rest is completely different. Most have themes but the only one even remotely similar to judas would be thornstar but thats more local myths and legends

i like to describe lord of the lost as the child of rammstein and depeche mode, especially in their thornstar album
