Never judge LOTL by just one song. You would be heavily surprised. They are great and around for almost 15 years now. They just do what they want in music and style no matter what genre. And they are so, so nice and funny, too.

Thanks for reacting! The thing with Lord of the Lost is that you never know what exactly you will get! Ruins is one of their harder songs but that's by far not what they are all about! If you are interested to get more LotL I can send you another request with a different style of song! By the way LotL are all very funny and very nice and open minded human beings ❤ The singer, Chris Harms, is a trained cellist as well. There are concerts with classical orchestra as well. Maybe they will even check out this reaction and comment!

1) You wouldn't have been able to guess where they're from based on the location anyway because this video was filmed in Mexico 2) The instrument of your interest is called N.O.R.A. and is a custom piece by Cyan Guitars 3) this is one of their harder songs, but they have a lot of different genres ranging from this type all the way to classic so if this wasn't to your liking, you might find another song by them that you'd enjoy more

LOTL i one of my absolute favorite bands. For 15 years, they haven't stopped working. Chris Harms (lead singer) is a trained cellist , but also he mix and masters all of the music himself (i believe). LOTL are always doing something new with each album and song. Never to just be a one trick pony (so to speak) . Blood and Glitter is a very danceable tune, priest is about forbidden love and death.. Definitely a rabbit hole to get lost in.

Chris doesnt mix and master their own songs i think, but he works in the studio where he does that for other artists

As people have said you can't judge LOTL by this song. (Personally I really like it though). I discovered them at Eurovision 2023 where they represented Germany and they are now my favourite band. Their music covers genres from rock, goth, industrial, pop, metal, glam, electronica and classical. Every album is so different yet so them. They were picked by Steve Harris to support Iron Maiden on their last tour. They are amazing live and they communicate soooo much with their fans. You should really check out some of their other stuff.
