Wonderful - thank you. If you ask me, the hero of these movies isn't Frodo or Gandalf or Aragorn, it is Sam. The kind of friend that is a rock, no matter what - he is a great example. And Frodo was right - he wouldn't have gotten far without Sam.
@patrickseverance81278 жыл бұрын
+April Game I completely agree! Sam was one of the supporting pillars of the fellowship... Without him all of it would have come crashing down... I love the way Peter Jackson made these movies. These movies breathed life into a classic story, and I will never forget them.

I've known these stories of the Hobbit since I was born, and I grew to love lotr. When we would go camping in the mountains, while we slept we listened to the casset tape of the lotr and the hobbit, which made it all more real being out in the woods and in the mountains. And I grew up in the mountains, so these stories and movies will forever hold a big place in my heart. The music and all feels like im remembering an old friend, and to me it almost all seems real. Sometimes I would imagine I was going with them, and I was going on an adventure too. There will always be a certain magic around it all for me, and nothing can change that, this video is beautiful.

A few years ago I happened upon the track “May It Be” by Enya on Spotify. Her voice complained with this language I couldn’t identify intrigued me so much that I stayed with the track and listened to all of it. The best way I could describe the song was as if I had received a hug from a benevolent being. The lyrics and the melody were so comforting. It became my go-to song when I felt a heavy weight on my shoulders. It gently lifted any weight and embraced my soul with warmth. A few years later, I watched The Lord of the Rings for the first time and I don’t think I’ve ever focused so much when watching a movie. From the first few seconds of the first movie with the mystic music and that same unidentifiable language to the last scene of the last movie with the hobbits saying their farewells, I WAS ENRAPTURED in this magical world. Fast forward a few months, I was struggling with focusing on my homework but what really helped me was the music in this beautiful video. I watched an hour long loop of the peaceful tracks from the trilogy. Now, I focus more on the quality and originality of film soundtracks because of these beautiful films. The Lord of the Rings music remains some of the greatest music my ears have ever heard. When I listen to this I feel as though I have memories of being in middle earth.

My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play in it, for good or evil, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.' Frodo: 'I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.' Gandalf: 'So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides that of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, in which case you were also meant to have it. This tune is both hopeful and sad at the same time. Sad because it feels this world of Middle Earth is just that; a fantasy, a mere mirage of what this world ought to be but simply isn't. That no matter how hard we try, we cannot reach it. And the story captures much pain, reflecting on the griefs our World has to deal with so much on a daily basis. But hopeful because this 'mirage' captures deep truths. To never give up, to overcome your own evil first, that those who persist will overcome, and that the truth though blurred in this life is still out there. Sometimes, even the smallest glimmer of hope can make a huge change. And that even darkness must pass.

So do I, and so do all who wish to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. :D

So do all who live to see such fate but that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time given to us. Very profound statement by gandalf but I will always and forever be a LOTR fan and nerd

Eu amo esses filmes.
