The TV series is going to be woke garbage. It will be full of noncanonical diversity crowd actors, non canonical diversity proto-hobbits, diversity transgender elves eating pudding, game of thrones style nudity and raunching sexual scenes, and basically something unrecognizable as anything pertaining to JRR's work. Amazon doing a TV show on this art form would be like taking the Mona Lisa and having Wal-Mart make improvements on it with a turd crayon. Folks, I would wish that it could be good, but understand that the people in charge of this project are not fans or scholars of Tolkien. They are woke political activists. What they will make will be akin to someone taking a fine steak dinner and having a cow take a big crap on it, then putting it in a blender, and then selling the result as an improved steak dinner. IT WILL NOT BE GOOD, and I promise it will not be faithful to Tolkien's work. Not by a long shot. It will take everything good about JRR's storytelling and shat all over it, and everything wrong and perverted about our modern culture and cram it on in there. The result will be a complete abortion. Mark my words.
