This is such a weird documentary. They want to do the whole "British Invasion" thing and choose...Oceansize? I've never seen one of the best bands in the world underplayed so much...I mean come on, Noel Gallagher doesn't deserve screen time...

hey, if Oceansize came anywhere within 300 miles of Pennsylvania i'd head out to see them

Oceansize can't afford to go to America, let alone crack it. Would require a very long and generous tour support. Any takers?

Endlessly amused that 5 years on, my comment about Oasis is still being taken as serious, even in light of explaining it as sarcastic. And mentioning haircuts. Most pathetic thing you've ever read David L, until you read your own comment back one assumes.

"HEY, this is OCEANSIZE and we're in MANCHESTURR...my name's Mike, this is Cameron." In just a few words, Mike has pretty much let anyone know what us American's sound like. We're all named either Mike, Cameron or Bradley and we all talk like that (Seriously, everyone would fucking say Manchesturr. Don't let anyone tell you different). Also, Salt Lake City is a fucking shithole. I should know. I live 20 miles away from it.

that's the most pathetic thing I've ever heard. the most simple of all Oceansize songs has more musical and artistic work on it than a whole Oasis album. no kidding

America? The holy grail of music? hmm, you might need to rethink that. As far as I'm concerned, where your from doesn't matter all that much. You shouldn't never get all tangled up in that whole geographical issue. It won't lead you anywhere. It's who are you are that truly matters.

Actually, thinking about it now, did they do this for the money or what? It doesn't seem like the kind of show they'd appear on.

i hope Oceansize doesnt get to commercial, it really can ruin the band and music. i kind of like it where they are now, a small dedicated group of fans that really enjoy the music Oceansize is all about, I hate the big group of sheeps that follow and start crowdsurfing at shows...

What a vacuous interview. Good to see Oceansize getting featured, but the annoying presenter kept bringing up "the band are desperate to break America", which the band themselves barely alluded to! As for showing them round Manchester and its scene- they went to Big Hands, then walked 50 yds to the Academy, then another 20 to the Academy 2! If they'd not played the Roadhouse we'd see nothing of the live scene except a brief view of the Apollo at the start! Are all US TV features this bad?

The last thing Oceansize need to sound like is Oasis. Oceansize are a far better band.
