Honestly the question for me is "Is the nexus twice as good as the aeon?" And for me the answer is yes. Native pump action and stock with plenty of mod potential means that it is twice as good. However, I love that this exists since it will draw even more people into out wonderful hobby.

I like the max Stryker more and maybe a nexus pro too, but what I love about the Aeon pro is it’s price and how they don’t have as much quality control issues. I have much better blasters but since they are all under mods I’m using an Aeon Pro for my gameplay

The way I see it, this blaster’s top prime may be too stiff for many younger enthusiasts (or injured adult enthusiasts) to cope, so someone will devise a T-pull handle. From that point, it shouldn’t be too difficult for two Aeons thus equipped to hook into each other for simultaneous prime.

Less not anybody forget AF, DZ, AW an even ZX (XZ) put out these “midsize” blasters. Mag/clip fed, no attachments, single hand wielding (or both), most don’t even have a tactical rail. Nerf always puts out a rifle you can minimize. Just saying all these o.t.N. Companies have been putting these out there, an they are all pretty good (stock). One I like, -laugh if you like- is the open feed clip Havoc. Hidden gem right there. Open feed = load darts in the holes, an when you prime it pulls the magazine straight through the blaster. n.s.

Picked up 2 of these blasters and a pack of half darts a couple of days ago. OMG Amazing. One more thing I discovered with this blaster was that if you half prime and then full prime, you can shoot 2 darts at once.

About the holster thing: IIRC there was a custom kit for the Kronos that used magnets to somewhat holster it to a small metal plate affixed to a holster strap. If one can be made to affix to the rail and wrap around the barrel perhaps...
