My logo is a piece of candy lol The blaster is not meant to be shouldered and yes you should run it more like a pistol. Most of the parts puzzle together so they self-align. I'm so glad it was a successful release! You should see the assembly instructions, they're beautiful! I screamed when I saw this video! Skewer is such a fun blaster, especially when paired with a shield and strapping the T pull to your chest rig so you can one hand wield it.

I have a real love hate relationship with shields. I dont think any non-scenario play should have a player with both a shield and a blaster like this capable of 220 fps. Thats just me though.

@@LordDraconical i'd agree with that. I think it's fine when there's not a super clear cut objective. I was in an event last weekend where there was a player who would simply stand in the open and use his shield and a flywheeler at around 200fps to survive for longer than anyone else could. Even in search and rescues scenarios and when playing point capture

Having faced Taffy in battle with this very blaster, i must say he is DEADLY with this blaster. You cant have ANY part of you sticking out or he'll pop ya, and with his fast playstyle, he is a force to be reckoned with

Man, there's something about the prime on that that sounds absolutely fantastic. The metallic slide, click, and pop is really satisfying.

It's a pretty easy prime too even on a K25. No friction losses from perpendicular force on a pump grip, all that effort goes into compressing the spring.

Interesting concept! I really like the red! I can see using it for targets, maybe not for battle. 220 fps is insane! Still pretty cool!

I'll have you know that I ran this at my first war and the first tag I ever got was a nutshot to some poor dude as I ran behind their cover and sniped them It's for running light, not for suppressive fire. It works when you get used to it, but yeah it's definitely not for everyone.

@@nerftalk1163 yeah like 220+, nothing to scoff at. Everybody who borrowed it at my games loved it; easy prime with enough power to clear the entire playing area. Just needs a sight and or a stock, but some liked the pistol form factor since it was different and a bit easier to move around.

That's a sleek mag well design. Most print designs don't focus too much on how the mag well looks and usually make it one piece. But this makes that area stand out in a great way.

The Cheetah 2 with Detroit Dart Works' OnePull kit is very nice. It's one less action to fire from a resting state since you don't need to push the handle back forward, but the Skewer is more solid. It's a hard choice!

This blaster looks gorgeous! I really like T-Pull blasters, I feel like they are quicker to prime with higher spring loads for me. This blaster performs really well and looks very solidly built, thanks so much for showing it Drac and well done Taffy for making such a cool thing! 🧡💙 P.S. I think Sillbutts made a pump-action kit for the skewer. Maybe you should review that if you prefer pump-action?

If you were to put a stock on I think a grip attachment for an upside down stock could work well with the t-pull design. Or just making a custom stock off the grip.

The grip is printed in two halves, and the orientation of the back half would not be suitable for a stock connection. It would break. I cannot change the orientation due to the way the part was designed.

It's intended for use as a pistol. The original plan was to use it with a 6-inch barrel that was flush with the muzzle bar but with the amount of air the plunger is moving, that proved to be way too short. It turned into a hand cannon instead, which is cool but not what it started out as. You could run it with a shorter barrel and a SCAR to solve the muzzleblast/fishtailing issues that a short barrel normally presents.
