The WORST Nerf Blaster: The NERF Alpha Strike Uppercut... a HAMP Jolt.

Thanks to Abquintic, I have my hands on the newest Jolt to hit the NERF line... the Alpha Strike Uppercut, and it's the worst NERF Blaster I have ever seen. Not only is it difficult to obtain, it's as expensive as the Alpha Strike stinger... which is a Jolt... so I'm really confused why this thing even exists. Despite being a HAMP, it functions with a spring to reset the plunger... despite the fact it's a single shot blaster... it's so confusing.

This is WAY worse than the deploy. The deploy can atleast be broke down for springs and extra shell plastic. Oh and it has the self contained magwell which is super useful for modding. This thing is literally useless.

I actually think the Elite 2.0 Warden is the worst blaster ever, this clearly wasn’t meant to be a performance blaster, it was made as a fun little gimmicky toy. The Warden WAS meant to be a performance blaster AND was marketed as such, at least with this people will buy this for fun and not performance.

They could've made the spring a tension spring instead of a compression spring. That way, even without a trigger, all you'd have to do to fire effectively is to release the plunger rod.

I actually got an old jolt from winners at Mic Mac mall a while back because I’m in Canada, and it’s actually an older model. You know that little piece of orange plastic that new elite jolts have on the barrel? Yeah, that. The thing that sits right on top of the barrel? The old versions don’t have that. With older ones, you have iron sights you can use, so that’s pretty cool. Also, god damn, stock angled jolt nearly hit rival range. That’s scary.

I have 2 standard grey-trigger jolts, a orange-trigger jolt (i think the older models were orange trigger?) and a clear orange plastic one that I modded and removed the air restrictor from. I always use the orange clear one as my backup nerf gun in case i run out of ammo or my other guns jam. It's a great gun.

The other day I was having a rough day because my train had been canceled for the 4th time in a row, delaying my holiday plans again. To occupy the time I pulled out the old nerf blasters and set up a big steel water bottle as a target because it makes a great ping when you hit it. Out of all the blasters I used, the jolt was 100% accurate. I never missed once. Now admitedly the other blasters I was using were mostly shotguns like the barrel break, rough cut, and sledgefire all of which have weird spreads and sometimes Id literally see the darts cross midair and go perfectly on either side of the bottle. But yeah the Jolt just holds up.
