Drac's caliburns are very nice and a caliburn with those accessories would cost at least $300 from frontline foam. (not all basic accesories) You could save some money by buying the worker metal caliburn kit. However, drac's print quality, aesthetic value, and ability to make sla and sls parts is unmatched. Still, I am sick that drac always thinks his products and mods are "the best." (Lilith crossbow, arcane caliburn, tooth and nail)

I’d personally like to see another sidearm-class blaster like the Mk2 but is fed through the detachable half length mags through the grip. Cause everything to me is sound about the Mk2 except for you have to use clips to push the darts into an internal magazine.

seems to me that it has a bit more of a run and gun style of play in design, where as the nexus pro due to it having a stock with no slamfire has more of a precision style in design. i really like that it is cheaper and is half length exclusive, and honestly wondering if they could have knocked a couple more bucks off since they didn't need to include the mag adapter. the rear loading looks so fun aswell

I saw this in the background of the Max Stryker video from earlier and I definitely didn't expect the review to drop the same day. It's such an incredible looking blaster. I love that it's half-length only and IT CAN TAKE TALONS! It seems a little inconsistent fps-wise but I am 100% picking one up.

I’m absolutely down for that. And on top of that, perhaps make a modular attachment system for it. Not only make a full auto pro-grade blaster base, but perhaps make a tactical modular attachment system around it too; like what we had with modulus. Cause the only thing after performance, is modularity. Making different configurations for the same blaster makes it fun for me, which is why I’m sad to no longer see modulus blasters

Another note for this compared to the Nexus and Aeon; interestingly, you seem to be able to swap the magazine whether it's primed or not. You can actually do a reload with a dart ready to fire, it seems! I know that's important to some people, so it's very cool. Really cool blaster, absolutely love the loading mechanism. Please open this thing up, if only because I'm so thrilled to see the inner workings of it. Have a Nexus Pro, but may actually grab this as well...

You can think of this is a G11 from H&K. Just reversed and flipped upside-down. Where the magazine would normally be in front and up top, this is behind and above the trigger. I wanna say it's a bullpup but the action happens in front of the trigger so the closest thing you can relate it to it's an inverse G11 from Heckler and Koch.

I think an Erebus Fore grip would perfectly slim down the lower part of the barrel and give it a slicker profile. I applaud Dart Zone for creating a blaster toy that looks nothing like a firearm. And that loading/chambering mechanism is, to my knowledge (although admittedly I've been out of the field for years), unique unto itself. AWESOME STUFF!!👍

This is really cool, I like it. Like the loading is kinda awkward, but it reminds me of the FLAK and Rivalburn3 where you trade convenient loading with a nice, more compact silhouette. Though both of Slug's in-line Rival blasters do have a topping-off feature that justifies the awkward reloads. Still, I love that DartZone is all-in on making gimmicky blasters that are also fully functional. Like pump action hopper-fed dart blasters? Hell yeah, gimme more. Are they optimal? Nah. But they're cool and they're trying something new, making a gimmick as good as they can make it. I love it.

Imagine a sister-blaster to this that is a flywheel electronic blaster, but you load the magazines dart-tip down and feeds downward into a rail/barrel for the flywheels to catch it. I'd also appreciate a flywheel-based half-dart sidearm of some kind, be it loading into the pistol grip, behind the grip, or in front of the trigger. Heck, a pistol/handgun size profile with 6 half-dart capacity magazines could fit into a sidearm about half the size of the Conquest Pro or even smaller if it uses the rear-inserted half-dart method.

That feeding system is nuts and shows how much superior short darts are. Imagine such a system for full-size darts! And it seems like it should improve reliability when using old darts or beaten-up mags (i.e. HvZ when you pick up ammo or accidentally crack your mag a little during hasty reload).

Huh, its not quite the same but that breach/dart loading mechanism reminds me of the FN P90's top mounted mag that rotates the rounds from 90 degrees before firing, really interesting design choice to make the blaster more compact but seems a bit more prone to mechanical breakage. But it also looks like they put a lot of thought behind it too so the reliability issues are probably not there

At this point, Dart Zone owns the 150fps (Pro-level performance) market. They make the best springers at their pricepoint, and maybe flywheelers too if the Mk 3 and derivatives prove to be hits. All well deserved, too - other manufacturers, take note.
