MRVEGAS well, that is actually her name. It always seems weird to me in interviews and such when people call her Lorde like it is her name. But maybe it’s normal when the “band” has only the one permanent “member”? And maybe it’s better for her brand that Lorde is used as much as possible? I would think it would be Lorde when talking *about* her as a performer and Ella when talking *to* her ... the more I think about it the more I realize I don’t really know anything about this subject, lol.

Maybe the reason they get "objectified" when wearing more "revealing" outfits is exactly because many men immediately stare and have the audacity of behaving in an entitled, unreasonable sexual manner towards them. This exact scenario is what objectification actually entails: You can't wear something in fear of how someone else will behave like towards you. For example, guys don't feel like that when they have their top off, because women don't immediately sexualize them in those situations and make them feel "dirty", the way most men do when women wear more revealing clothing or have no top on. They fight objectification in order to wear whatever the hell they want, without having a man tell them or make them feel like they can't wear something that they want to.
