I'm mostly into Rock music. From old school bands like The Beatles to Led Zeppelin to modern bands such as Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc. And I think this song rocks. Electric drums, synth and her vocals are enough to make this song happen. Extremely catchy melodies. Great style and tone in her voice. As for her movements, I don't mind it because at least she's got a great voice live and not lip-syncing. I don't see much hatred on Scott Weiland's and Mick Jaggers' moves. Maybe because they wrote great songs so who cares about the dancing?

Today I learned that people are scared too easily... Seriously I don't see anything wrong with how she acts on stage, she's just feeling the music, hell that's probably how I'd act if I were up there. Also, it's pretty obvious that she can sing. Being able to sing is not equal to belting out every note, I prefer her vocals, they're much easier to listen to and you just instantly get the feeling that she really means what she's singing. She's 17, let her be.

First off, I think she was a bit too relaxed on the intro. Her voice became clearer once she got going. Like most things in life, yes? Secondly, as a producer I can assure you that making music with yourself is not the same as performing it live for others. Ontop of this, she is just as normal as you and the next person, but because of the hype (of which is not her doing) you approach with intentions to be cynical, or at least more critical, yes? Oh, and no there isn't any auto-tune filling in the blanks either. Something to consider. She's not about living up to her hype so that you approve of her, by the way. I've learnt that much. Nurchering what can be acheived in herself is all she wants to work on. That's all she has ever tried to do with her music. You see, this girl hasn't even reached her adult life yet, and all this talk over her has made you cynical towards her success, which is bizzare considering she was no more than a girl trying to developing herself. We all started as amateurs, remember. And Lorde enjoys her music. Nothing more. Everything else was everyone else. So get over the gossip, listen past the noise, and see the reality.
