This was a hilarious reaction! Though I gotta share, after seeing Shenron restore the Namekian Dragon Balls, I came up with a loophole for infinite wishes. First, you ask Porunga for 1 wish of anything, and then the 2nd wish is to restore the Earth Dragon Balls. Then, with Shenron, you ask him to restore the Namekian Dragon Balls. Rinse and repeat, you got infinite wishes. No need the Super Dragon Balls!

I mean it wasn't that he restored the Namekian Dragon Balls. He restored Guru, which in turn restored the Namekian Dragon Balls because they were active while Guru was alive. So it essentially restored to the state they were in when Guru was alive, which was summoned with 1 wish left. Basically the Dragon Balls have an on-off switch with the life and death of the creator or person currently giving power to the dragon balls. The person dies, the dragon balls cease to function and the state they were last in while the person was alive is stored with the soul of that person. That person is then brought back to life, and the dragon balls return to that stored state, which could be either charging for the remaining duration of that person's year timer, active but not yet summoned, or summoned with at least 1 wish left, depending on the amount of wishes used before the person responsible for the dragon ball's power died while the dragon was summoned. That is how the dragon balls appear to work based on the Frieza saga, because the wish King Kai used via Kami and Popo was to restore the lives of all those on Namek who were killed by Frieza and his minions, and the heartbreak of all those Namekians that died killed Guru, thus Guru revived from Shenron. Porunga was never killed, he died because Guru died. So, when Guru was brought back, Porunga returned. We don't actually have any confirmation on whether the Earth Dragon Balls can restore the Namekian Dragon Balls themselves when they've been used up and vice-versa, as that was not the wish that was granted by Shenron.
